EGM scores and rumors thread (Sept 05 issue)

The whole bioware - PS3 rumor was based on that they were at the PS3 conference. That's all there is to it.. OTOH it is known that bioware is developing at least two games with MGS..

Not that I care about Bioware or anything but you are getting two rumours mixed up. Some Canadian Sympatico site said that Bioware was doing a game for PS3 cause they attended the Sony PC.

But this is EGM and I doubt they will use some small Canadian website as the source for their rumours.

Distribution of HL2. Valve is allegedly going to publish their own games from now on.

Redwood City, Calif. and Bellevue, WA – July 18, 2005 – Electronic Arts, the world’s leading interactive entertainment company and Valve®, the award-winning studio behind the blockbuster franchises Half-Life® and Counter-Strike™, today announced that the two companies have entered a multi-year agreement to deliver a collection of Valve games to players worldwide. The first two games to be released under this agreement are Half-Life 2: Game of the Year and Counter-Strike: Source™ for PC, both launching this fall. In addition, Half-Life 2 for the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft, currently in development at Valve and targeted for release in October, will be published and distributed worldwide by EA.

Sounds like its more then HL2.

Games I was starting to suspect were total shit, but might have bought previous to this weekend...

Geist, Nanostray, Death Jr. Triple Yech.

I'm sick of these stupid "All Things Final Fantasy!1111" issues these magazines have. Seriously. Especially since they're goign to be covernig the same things they covered in the *last* "All Things Final Fantasy!111" issue.

Shane says, "Yes, you're right, the feature will cover FF X-2, FF Crystal Chronicles, and FF XI again. You figured us out."

the last "All things Final Fantasy" issue was 2 years ago. but like i said, you guys dont read egm so i'm not surprised :P

I swear the last EGM FF feature covered FFXII, FFAC, FFDC, FFBC, and FF A to Z C..and it came out last year (which in time, all three of those were released). My memory is probably mistaken, or it was a Square Enix feature and not just Final Fantasy.

EGM's last Final Fantasy cover was Nov 2003, almost exactly two years ago. Not that we -wouldn't- have done one last year had we had the chance and a reason to....and we've covered the various games before, of course, but no big uber FF feature....
