I thought G-Darius was great, personally. You can't beat the Quad Laser/screen filling laser battles. Zunata soundtracks are always a nice touch...

It's also one of the few shooters I've finished w/o dying (finished with The Embryon at that).

The only huge mar is the near-constant slowdown in the game :/ I was able to ignore it a lot better in the late 90's than I can today...

BTW, what was the consensus feeling regarding Polyphony's Omega Boost?

I thought it was good and bought it, and never bothered to play it much after that for some reason :/ I should pop it in again.

At least it's still proof that Polyphony did make something other than Gran Turismo.

Yeah, G-Darius' slowdown is seems pretty awful these days. It may be worse than R-Type Final's.

I didn't think much of Omega Boost. Trying to sell it off, in fact.

What is Omega Boost? British PSX game? The only time I heard of it was in the Eiffel 65 song "My Console" (look it up, super cheesy eurodance song about PlayStation 1 and they name-drop a bunch of games).

This thread kicks ass, it made me go and play Einhander last nite, I forgot how much that game rocked... Did better than I used to (made it halfway through the 5th stage before I had to leave), maybe cuz at that time I didn't really play nearly as many shooters as I did now.

Well this thread is kinda about ePSXe so I will ask this here.

I'm trying to play Klonoa Beach Volleyball (on my TV it cuts off the bottom) in ePSXe but it won't run from the CD (other games do), heck I can't even get my Computer to recognize the CD except once when I mae an image of the game with Nero. But the Image doesn't work either. Any ideas? It is a PAL game so mabe that has something to do with the drive not reading it?
