I know the 'ghetto' way to do it w/ iTunes. I only know how to do it on a track by track basis. Takes forever and doesn't always work (some tracks say 'Album Art Not Modifiable')

Isn't there an app out there that makes it easier?

I use iTunes AI BE and it's fairly automatic.

You can select more than one track either by holding ctrl and selecting the other tracks one by one or by holding shift and selecting the last track in the set you want to modify. Or you could use an app like Dr. Tag.
