Eminem Surprise Drops New Album Music to Be Murdered By

I dont remember him doing that. Depends on what he was criticizing them for. Yet I dont think MM has any legs to stand on calling out people. Considering his literal call for violence against women in his songs.
it's called entertainment, you know how films have serial killers who kill people\women, you sound a little hateful towards em.

Cancelling Eminem just because of that? That's a little lefty of you bro. Em has done way more than that to become irrelevant.
Not cancelling, he just got annoying af. Old stuff is still classic tho

oh and that trap song he made that destroyed mumble rap and mgk

I've listened to them all many times. I don't recall a literal call to violence. Do you have any examples?
Since apparently you didn’t listen here are some....

Low Down, Dirty... “slap dips, support domestic violence beat you’re bitches ass while your kids stare in silence.”

Murder,Murder... “went up in east land and shot a police man fuck a peace plan... this shit in my hands, here’s your lifespan.”

4 verses... “I’m the illest rapper to hold a cordless, patrolling corners looking for hookers to punch in the mouth with a roll of quarters.”

Just Don’t Give A Fuck... “went to gym in 8th grade raped the women’s swim team don’t take me for a joke I’m no comedian.”

97 Bonnie and Clyde... the entire fucking song.

Kim... the entire fucking song.

As some Stan I figured you would know this shit lol. Want more?

You're very confident in your argument for someone who doesn't know what a "Literal call to violence" is. Do you think that The Lion King is a literal call to murder kings, or that GTA is a literal call to commit crimes? Do you think Ziggy Stardust was actually a man sent down from space and that the Spiders From Mars were real spiders from Mars?

Stay mad that the guy you Stan is a fucking dumb fuck who hates women almost as much as those fa**ots! But omg he talks so fast right!!!!!1!!!

Or as he says, “That’s my motherfuckin balls you’d better let go of em, they belong in my scrotum, you’ll never get a hold of em!”

"Fiction can't be negative, and you're a Stan if you don't think Eminem wants people to be violent towards women because of what Slim Shady said."

That's what you're telling me. I'm going to assume you're on a wind up and that you don't actually stand by it.

No man.
That line of thinking leads to all humour being bad. If people get triggered into action based on what they hear then they would already be mentally defective in some way.

Can’t take away what people enjoy because of a few bad eggs.

his lyrics are outlets for aggression of untoward behaviors, being at odds with the self and shadow

These ideas are nightmares to white parents
Whose worst fear is a child with dyed hair and who likes earrings
Like whatever they say has no bearing
It's so scary in a house that allows no swearing
To see him walking around with his headphones blaring
Alone in his own zone, cold and he don't care
He's a problem child, what bothers him all comes out
When he talks about his fuckin' dad walkin' out
Cause he hates him so bad that he blocks him out
If he ever saw him again, he'd probably knock him out
His thoughts are whacked, he's mad so he's talkin' back
Talkin' black, brainwashed from rock and rap
He sags his pants, do rags and a stocking cap
His stepfather hit him so he socked him back
And broke his nose, this house is a broken home
There's no control, he just let's his emotions go
, sing for the years
(Sing it) Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears (come on)
Sing it with me, just for today,
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
Entertainment is changing, intertwining' with gangsters
In the land of the killers, a sinner's mind is a sanctum
Holy or unholy, only have one homie
Only this gun, lonely, 'cause don't anyone know me
But everybody just feels like they can relate
I guess words are a motherfucker, they can be great
Or they can degrade, or even worse, they can teach hate
It's like these kids hang on every single statement we make
Like they worship us, plus all the stores ship us platinum
Now how the fuck did this metamorphosis happen?
From standin' on corners and porches just rappin'
To havin' a fortune, no more kissin' ass
But then these critics crucify you, journalists try to burn you
Fans turn on you, attorneys all want a turn at you
To get their hands on every dime you have
They want you to lose your mind every time you mad
So they can try to make you out to look like a loose canon
Any dispute, won't hesitate to produce handguns
That's why these prosecutors wanna convict me
Strictly just to get me off of these streets quickly
But all their kids been listenin' to me religiously
So I'm signing CD's while police fingerprint me
They're for the judges daughter, but his grudge is against me
If I'm such a fuckin' menace, this shit doesn't make sense b
It's all political, if my music is literal then I'm a criminal
How the fuck can I raise a little girl?
I couldn't, I wouldn't be fit to
You're full of shit too, Guerrera, that was a fist that hit you
, sing for the years
(Sing it) Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears (come on)
Sing it with me, just for today,
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
They say music can alter moods and talk to you
Well can it load a gun up for you and cock it too?
Well if it can, then the next time you assault a dude
Just tell the judge it was my fault, and I'll get sued
See what these kids do, is hear about us totin' pistols
And they want to get one, 'cus they think the shit's cool
Not knowin' we're really just protectin' ourselves
We entertainers, of course the shit's affecting ourselves
You ignoramus but music is reflection of self
We just explain it, and then we get our checks in the mail
It's fucked up ain't it, how we can come from practically nothin'
To bein' able to have any fuckin' thing that we wanted
That's why we sing for these kids that don't have a thing
Except for a dream and a fuckin' rap magazine
Who post pinup pictures on their walls all day long
Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in they lives
'Til they sit and they cry at night, wishing they die
'Til they throw on a rap record, and they sit and they vibe
We're nothing to you, but we're the fuckin' shit in their eyes
That's why we seize the moment, and try to freeze it and own it
Squeeze it and hold it, 'cause we consider these minutes golden
And maybe they'll admit it when we're gone
Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our songs
And we can
, sing for the years
(Sing it) Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears (come on)
Sing it with me, just for today,
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
, sing for the years
(Sing it) Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears (come on)

He grew up. Became a father. More well-adjusted. Not to say his modern views are “right” or “wrong”. Just the views of a cat in his late 40s (got damn: he and we are all gettin up there).

I think he was the better artist in his youth. Raw, unchained. But obviously a danger to himself and wreckless.

now he’s clean. Alive. But kind of corny.

we could all hope to adjust as such ❤️

Lol at taking Eminem too seriously

Its horrorcore. Em was heavily inspired by Esham, a local legend here in Detroit. Much like ICP were. They all added their own cartoony take on what Esham had started...and Esham was inspired by Geto Boys, so on and so forth

Its entertainment. Dudes in a better place now. But no lol men in their mid 40s should rap about beating women still... lmao

not sure if or why they'd care about eminem. He hasn't been relevant for what, a decade? Millenials seemed more about cancelling him over shit. More likely they laughed at older relatives rapping along like they're 8 mile.

HAHAHAHAHA.
They can try.
Yeah, I doubt they will succeed, but it is still embarrassing. Why are there still so many people that can't differentiate between art and the person(s) behind the art?

Like shit, there is tons of vulgar or dare I say controversial poetry done in the past centuries that you even analyse in school these days. Those things are not meant to be reality. Hell, even Romeo and Juliet isn't exactly a happy story. Seriously wtf!?

they're trying to cancel him over "If she ever tries to f***ing leave again, I'ma tie her/to the bed and set this house on fire."
have they not heard fack? or kim? or kill you? or any other 1000 songs he has about drugs murder and rape?
really.

I think if you can just drop albums out of the blue and still go platnium in several countries after 20+ years in the game, you don't need to be "hot" or "relevant" to stay a float. The amount of rappers that are in this stage of their career can be counted on one hand probably. Most fade to obscurity.

Ofc, old legendary artists still sell. They have their industry connections just like any established player. My comment was a reference to the "zeitgeist"( to use a $2 dollar word). Been awhile since he's been on the pulse. At least to the point that a Gen Z would want to cancel him.

Reading this generational controversy with Z and cancelling em is either blown up or contrived. Both? Millenials with grudge against em trying to use them as Zombie cancel army and make it appear that there's an issue when there isn't.

Tone Deaf is pretty good though. Best song of his since We As Americans.

I finally got round to listening to this album recently. By listening, I mean I skipped through most of them because at a basic level of entertainment it fails for me and nothing else matters. Even watching the Tone Deaf lyric video is only half good because of the animation. But that song won't get a second listen.
