damn I was near tears at the end

ive never been so emotionally hit by a game ever, think this game was better then most of action films in the last few years. Kojima is the man.

The game that truly deserved 2004's GOTY. It was criminal how this masterpiece was overlooked for complete drek.

Seriously, this was one of the best endings I've seen in a long, long time.

When Snake visists The Boss' grave, knowing all he now knows, it's really quite emotional.

The point where it got me

is when he won't shake hands and the faux-choir music and theme comes in... and he just stares ahead, right through the guy. When he turns around and everything is slow motion, people taking pictures. Then it got me again right after with the montage of the Boss and the tears rolling down her cheeks to the explanation of what she'd done. I thought the girl who played Eva mighta overdone the emotion at the grave scene, but still, that was brilliant too

My favourite MGS game. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Superb ending. Probably the most mature, sophisticated and touching ending to a game I've ever seen. It was damn brave to do what Kojima did and he managed it 100%, IMO.

Awesome game, but the end 3-4 hours are probably the best finale to ANY game I've ever seen

I have not finished the game but i can tell you the first few cut scenes are beyond stupid.

I mean really talk about being stratched out.

good thing the gameplay is stellar.
