What's a good DJ Shadow album to get? (I don't feel like making a new topic for it)

He's not Hip-Hop, but get them all (Endtroducing, Private Press, Preemptive Strike)

And yes, Sage Francis does kick ass, hell, pretty much the whole Anticon label rocks in my opinion. Too bad Buck 65's on Warner now, he's my favorite Hip-Hop artist but Talkin' Honky Blues was disapointing after Man Overboard and Square (Yes, I know Square was released by Warner as well).

That's a pretty damn good list.

There are always omissions in this sort of thing, but there's not a single record on there that you can't make a decent argument for.

I'm honestly surprised.

No Muddy Waters by Redman = worthless list

7. Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)
8. Nas - Illmatic This in no way needs to be anywhere near Wu Tang. I guess it's the aging factor and Wu does not age well now, and will not play well in 10 years. Once you figure out their gimmick (talk a lot of BS and hope nobody catches on), you start to feel like an idiot. Of course, I'm overstating, as they put out quite a few great albums but I don't enjoy it now unless I am in a nostalgic mood. Stevie Wonder, is great no matter how old the song is. Wu feels dated. I would say that Illmatic and Low End Theory are more enjoyable but it may just be my personal preference.

15. Jay-Z - The Blueprint Wrong, it's his 2nd best album. Great but his first is the classic.

23. Missy Elliott - Miss E. So Addictive. I wouldn't put her anywhere on a top 20 list.
