Epic Store Free Games

It won't let me redeem it. Says Unavailable. Looks like I already have the base game in my library, so I assume that's why I'm locked out. No free upgrade packs or anything like that are showing up either. Bummer, I would have liked to have played with the DLC.
Same here, I guess you can only get it if you don't have the base game, which sucks but when I checked again it just changed, and I was able to order it even though I had the base game. I'd try again and see if it works.

Yeah I got a "Looks like you have a version of this game in your library. Do you still want to purchase?" Message just now. Clicked yes and was able to get the Platinum Edition.

Here it warned me "This edition contains content that you already have? Proceed?" "yes yes" "thank you for your purchase"

But this one deserves the to be played at Steam. The Workshop integration + mods really improve the experience.

I would really like to thank Epic for these games.

I wanted to try Borderlands 3 and I had it in my Epic Library. I tried it, loved it ( gameplay is sublime, dialogue is extra cringe ) and got the Ultimate edition on Steam.

I wanted to try Tiny Tina's Wonderland. You guessed it right! It was given free so I tried it, loved it ( incredibly fun, addictive gameplay and sorta funny as well the VAs are great! ) so I bought the full edition (4 DLCs) on Steam.

Thank you Epic for being the demo store that I never thought I needed.

Pretty cool they still have the 20% cash back during the sale. Otherwise it would have been just as bad as the steam sales.

Bit weird but you do you. You can also "try out" games on steam, just refund them if you don't like them. As long as you don't play more than 2 hours it's automatic.

The only game I ended up actually playing that I got for free on Epic was Maneater. I always claim the games, but then I turn off the client or whatever the reason why I never come around to play games on Epic.

I know you can but sometimes you need to play for more than two hours. Too many refunds kinda feels wrong as well.
