It's not money hats. It's just marketing. Fox Sports used 2k footage for awhile despite having an agreement with EA. During the first Monday Night Football game last year there wasn't a single Madden commercial. There were,however,Gameday commercials every break with an Al Michaels spoken reminder about Gameday every break as well. Yahoo has an agreement with EA for Fantasy baseball,yet it didn't stop them from accepting ads from Midway for Slugfest. It's just how it works.
