I'm in for football season. Beats paying $50+ for Sling, or whatever the hell YouTube TV is charging now. I never watched anything other than football anyway, so this is perfect for me.

ESPN is a sick joke at this point.

I'm really trying to cut back on my consumption of sports especially NFL and as such I shan't be participating in this. But as of now it seems like a much better deal if you watch RedZone.

If it's truly all-inclusive I don't see a real problem with the price. Summed up independently, these services would be much more expensive.

Imagine caring about professional sports. Just go piss half that money away gambling and give the other half to someone to insult you to your face.

This is a better deal than ESPN+. If the UFCs next broadcasting deal ends up with ESPN, I really hope the PPVs are included. That alone would be worth the $30.

I am ok with this, IF there is an "annual purchase price". Especially if that annual purchase price goes on sale cheaper through out the year. Let's say $149-$199 a year for an upfront payment. That is fine, imo.

I can't remember what I paid for the seasonal NFL pass or whatever they called it before, but if you're a big sports fan, it's a reasonable price. Wonder how bad the ads are going to be?

I haven't watched ESPN in 15 years outside of college football and when it's on in waiting rooms. I'm a huge wrestling fan, but this probably the nail in the coffin for me in terms watching WWE. I'm not giving ESPN a dime. Their programming has gone to complete crap over the years.

I have been waiting for them to give the launch date.

Espn Arkansas GIF by College GameDay

Even though this year, like the past decade, is going to really suck for me as a Razorback fan. WoopsPigSooie! :poop::poop::poop:

That's pretty much what I was thinking. How many is it now? How long till they are all bundled for some kind of massive rate?
They already are (maybe a USA thing)?Hulu+disney plus+espn. I pay $30 bucks a month.

Wonder if espn will get obliterated from the current bundle.

Did your QB return? I think you will win some games you shouldn't.
Ironically, if i am not mistaken, the launch is the weekend Lee Corso is retiring. He is coming to do one Final Gameday. We are saying goodbye to one of the GOATS.

Edit: God Bless Corso and the rest of the College Gameday teams. It has been with me since I was a teenager in the 1990's. Enjoy retirement, well deserved!

He is back but lost RB, WRs and a TE. I believe the line that we lost is replaced with equal if not better talent. Obviously I will take a better win percentage but looking at the schedule, I have them at the under 5.5. I think the only way they get to 6 if a couple of games bounce their way and they do not drop a game that they should win.

Florida has the toughest schedule again this year. We need to play in the MAC or something.

Coincidentally.

LOL you'll be paying $50+ for ESPN by itself in 2 or 3 years. This is the loss leader subscriber base building price.

I'll only use it a few months a year, so it'll still be cheaper than other streaming services. They'll undoubtedly raise the prices of Sling and everything else, too.
