[EU] PSN January Sale - Save up-to 60% off - PS4, PS3 & Vita - 500+ items

Finally grabbed Ratchet & Clank and Gravity Rush Remastered for a total of 28€. Glad I decided to take the plunge on PS+ when it was 20% off last week!

Is Knack worth it for 6€?

I recently signed up for the newsletter and have been getting the 12 days of Christmas e-mails but didn't get a 10% of code. If I did that would've tipped me over the edge to get FF XV... Guess I'll wait for the next time it goes on sale. If anyone happens to have gotten one and isn't planning on using it I'd love to have it.

Having bought my PS4 only recently, I'm still waiting for some fantastic deals on the Uncharted series and some of the other exclusives. Might pick up Knack at that price.

€20 is a pretty good price for Bloodborne, one of the essentials (if you're into Souls games that is).

You must be the one person who didn't get one of the Uncharted bundles! If you're in the US I believe you can get the remastered trilogy codes (from bundles) pretty cheap.

If you're in the UK then I think both are pretty cheap at retail now.

I'm in mainland Europe. Cheapest I've seen the bundle is €30 at retail, I think - I can definitely wait for it to go cheaper. I've seen the Master Chief Collection hit €10, different platforms, but I would say that's about my sweet spot for a lot of these titles. My backlog's big enough as it is, in the meantime. :lol

You can definitely tell the PS4 is selling a lot better here, though. PS4 games drop prices a lot slower than their Xbox One counterparts.

Not really. I've thought about it, but don't think the series is for me. That said, I've only played a small part of Dark Souls, maybe I should get back into that one before judging. :p

You should get Ratchet & Clank in this sale.

Uncharted 4 is also in this sale, but it sounds like you have not played the rest of the series so you might prefer to wait until the collection is discounted in the future.

It looks fun, but not cheap enough imo. Maybe I've been spoiled by Steam sales, but I can stand to wait until it's a bit cheaper than €20.

This seems to be a separate listing to the actual sale but I've just noticed these bundles listed in the UK with special prices between 23.59 23rd December and 23.59 6th January.

£49.99 (Standard Price £99.99)
  • Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (+Terminal Bonus Map & Zombies in Spaceland Pack)
  • Destiny (+The Dark Below, House of Wolves, The Taken King, Rise of Iron & Level 40 Character Boost)
£64.99 (Standard Price £119.99)
  • Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (+Terminal Bonus Map & Zombies in Spaceland Pack)
  • Destiny (+The Dark Below, House of Wolves, The Taken King, Rise of Iron & Level 40 Character Boost)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered

EDIT:
There are other bundles listed, I can't tell you the price though as I already own the games so it doesn't show it to me on the PS4.
  • The EA Family Bundle (Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Need for Speed & Unravel)
  • Limbo & Inside Bundle

Is anyone having problems paying with a creditcard on PS Store?

I had troubles that I fixed by correcting my payment informations via my Vita. Your address has to be the exact same (punctuation, name...) as the one you gave your bank. Deleting my card and re-adding it on the website wasn't enough, I had to check on my Vita because apparently the infos are not the same accross the devices and one spelling error can tank everything everywhere.

You mean this that states that the framerate is locked and not all over the place, frame pacing is gone etc? And that it runs best on Pro?

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/d...return-to-arkham-patch-good-news-and-bad-news

Yeah sounds shit mate. The only real complaint is the dynamic resolution which isnt much of an issue at all.

It's a bit worrying that people actually think it to run worse - ignorance is bliss I suppose. Very very tempted to pick it up myself for the Pro.

Go ahead and support it then, not my money you're spending.

Did either of you even read the article at all? Pro support on this game is rubbish, which is what i was referencing. If you are very tempted to pick it up for the pro after reading that article then yes, ignorance is bliss.

You must have both skimmed that article and just taken the bits you want to hear lol. Unreal!

Yup, I read your comment..

The pro patch made it worse dude......

..as well, and that is what we are contesting. Lazily supported or not, it runs better then the base PS4 at a locked 30fps (which is preferred over the pre-patches unlocked framerate), and it is indeed our money to spend. :)

If you are happy to support this type of shit then all power to you i suppose.

These are 2 of my favourite games and I hope one day they manage to get them running in a way that todays tech should reflect on games that are years old.

Nah you said it made it worse. It didnt. Is Pro support underwhelming? Yes. But is it worse? No.

sooooo is Ratchet and Clank worth £12? Insomniac are on my list of top tier devs after Sunset Overdrive, but something about this is putting me off.

I've gone for Ratchet and Deus Ex (PS4), that's on top of Tomb Raider, GTA5, Fifa 17 and Hitman already bought recently in various sales. I hardly ever buy digital, but these prices have been too good to turn down 👍

I've switched up and gone all digital because of the increasing sales on the store.

A lot of interesting stuff (telltale batman, ronin, dear Esther, r&c...) and a great time also for the psn store to give an error every time I try to checkout :(

Damn Grinch!!

I thought R&C would be too simple for my tastes but I tried it anyway. I'm glad I gave it a chance because I ended up having a really good time playing it. £12 for it is a steal.

I'm thinking of a last hour self-gift and struggling between Deus Ex MD, Hitman and The Division. The thread about this last Survival DLC for division almost made me pull the trigger but haven't done it yet as I'm more of a single player gamer... anyone care to chime in?

Does anyone know if digital version of bloodborne is a licence swap or a full download if disc data and updates are already installed?

- is there a compatibility list somewhere on the net?

Full download. Only game I know of that allows for license swap is DriveClub.
