I've had my eye on this one since it was announced. No news came out of TGS so it's about time they updated. I know this game will probably get lost amidst the cloud of smoke from the hype of GT4 and Forza. I got a good feeling about this game though and i'm looking at it as my GT4 replacer.

It's gonna have some great race tracks, city track with point to point (Touge), Rally mode, weather effects in teh form of rain and the physics do look more realistic than GT4 based on that great physics movie they showed.

I hope they add a 'hood view' if they won't include the Cockpit. I'd also like to be able to flip cars under the right drivind conditions. When's the release date in Japan, i gots to pre-order this one?

The latest Famitsu Wave DVD has a long video of it, they shows how the car moves in reality and then they perform the moves in the game side by side or top and bottom to show they are reproducing real physics (their claim, don't shoot the messenger).

The thing that I want from the driving wheel is the real gear shifting box than just up and down, IMHO a clutch is a good addition if they also add that to the wheel and the car will act like normal MT cars, it will be great if the clutch, brake and gas pad also have feedback, ha ha ha ! But that is too much to ask, I know. :lol

edit: I know that you will say just go out and drive a real car, yeah, it was already more than 2 years since the last time I drove a car.

Konami should come to their senses and instead of going head on with GT4 sohuld release this on Xbox and PC also. There's simply no game like this on PC, I'm sure there would be a good audience for it. And Xbox only has Forza to compete with, which is nowhere as big as GT4.

I in no way think that is too much to ask. They could have a motor that rumbles at high revs. You could have rumbling when you lock up your tires. It shouldnt be that hard to implement.

A clutch, holy hell...it took developers long enough to get this done. Now all we need is a steering wheel with one and a true to life shift-gate. Although that would kind of be difficult, since some cars in GT4 will have as many as 8 speeds. Heh :\
