I caught it as an afternoon TV movie nearly 10 years ago. I had no idea what it was then and neither did the people I talked to immediately afterwards.

The campiness and the layer of 70s cheese was very thick indeed. I wish I could see it again.

Nope never seen it, but after reading this post i did some research and found out that Andromeda uses bits and pieces of this show as well as other failed Roddenberry pilots. In fact the main character of Andromeda and Genesis 2 have the same name. Having read more about the development of the show the current season of Andromeda is a rip off of another Roddenberry project.
