I rented this not long after it came out. Hated it and returned it before it was due. I just remember it being one of those interactive movie things and we were pissed that there was no gameplay. Not sure what we expected?

Yeah, it seemed very much like some Sewer Shark bullshit that was going around in the first half of the 90s. The premise and look of it was cool, it's a shame it wasn't much of an actual game.

Might sound weird now but our horror game standard was the PS1 version of Doom. Me and my friend who I always rented games with were obsessed with that version and ran the RCA cables through his home stereo to tape the music. The sound design and added lighting in that version made it feel cutting edge creepy. So I remember us trashing the corny music etc. in D.
never played it, only heard it.
the graphic unbearable even at the time.
some other psx horror which never talked are more interesting for me
for example twillight syndrome or maybe clock tower
Played it on release on Playstation and was extremely disappointed with it. During that time information about games was scarce so I bought it solely based on the cool cover and the fact it was on FOUR discs, which for me was a sign of great quality. Well, turns out it wasn't a sign of quality, but a sign of how trash it was. A super difficult and obtuse interactive puzzle game that you could beat within two hours. I spent most of my saved money on this dung heap, money I saved for a long time, and that stung worse than an actual bee sting. The 90s video game era could be brutal sometimes.
