Jaffe made mention that AIAS nomination was based on membership and the fact the organization had for years pursued capcom for membership(since they obviously wasn't a member to being with).

Anyhow a look back into past years seem to revealed that Capcom had 2 title nominated by the AIAS -- Viewtiful Joe and Street Fighter. See for yourself:

Now the big question. If Capcom was never a member since the organization has been pursuing them for years, why nominated both Street Fighter and Viewtiful Joe?? Why deny them now? If anything, I simpily believed Jaffe was lied to by the AIAS about capcom.

I'm thinking it's more along the lines of them not paying AIAS their bribe money. Obviously, Capcom doesn't care and neither should most of you. The game accomplished what it set out to accomplish. Just because an overrated actioner that is over after eight hours got the IGN award and looks to be walking away with this one as well doesn't mean anything.

Ok, I'm a little miffed too.
