Team tournaments:
Japanese own the US at 3S, we win at T5.

CvS2:
BAS is back! Shocker: Tokido/Ohnuki/Ricky did not place it top 4 and looks like Daigo didn't come this year.

GGXX#R:
Japanese own GGXX only 1 non-japanese got 5th out of 7th places.

Marvel:
Duc Do (where'd the hell did he come from? secret training!!) claims Marvel for westcoast from (previously undefeated) Justin Wong (who got 4th oh how the mighty have fallen).

Tekken 5:
American Steve wins T5 crown away from Japanese/Koreans.

3S:
Justin wong loses to ohnuki this year.

Sounds like an interesting tournament with alot of upsets can't wait for the dvds.

I don't see Choiboy anywhere there in the list... Did he attend? Sucks to hear Daigo wasn't there... I was hoping to see another awesome victory like he had last year.

Holy shit, who peaced out Wong? Didn't see that shit coming. SRK is down so I need my fix. :(

A bit suprised to see an American win T5 ... hope the 5v5 3S stuff is on this year's DVD.

Hey Keven P and the rest of you G4er's. I know you read this forum. Here's some content that you should be trying to get on your shows. (like AOTS or even it's own special)

hurry up and chop chop.

Yes putting EVO2k on tv would be a really good idea.

It's too bad none of the programming directors at g4 have good ideas.

OH GOD!!

Chun vs Chun final. That must've been the most boring final match ever. :lol

EDIT - Very sad to see only one person in the top 8 had the balls to not pick top tier. 5 Chuns in the top 8, I wish I could say 3rd strike is well balanced but the evidence shows the contrary :(

No VF4? Whatwhatwhat

it would be too one sided. and since there are like 3 FT machines in america (with no home version) itd be hard to pull off.

I was there. Last Chun-Chun match was pretty fun and exciting :).. this is perfect G4 programming, plus Halo was there. they blowing it....

Team USA got rocked. Too bad Vic Vance wasnt there to regulate.

I heard Alex Valle was peacing out the Japanese with the Shinsho. Is this true?

Interesting to seee Mester using Ken. Figured he would be using Yun..

Sorrry, but 2D fighters don't appeal to the masses, or so says the execs at G4 (its what "they've been told" from their "souces").

It's Justin's Chun vs the best Chun player, and dudley is next to top i think. Checkout SBO2 Hugo+Q team in the quarterfinals.

If it's the one I saw a few minutes ago, that Hugo was sick. He red parry KO's Yun into oblivion, very impressive. And I know they're the best of the best, but I still think Chun fights are the most boring in 3rd Strike. b.FP!!!!!!!! d.MK!!!!!!!!!! I know it's different at higher levels but its still annoying. When I see the match I'll change my tune, but for now I stick by my stance.

Marvel:
Duc Do (where'd the hell did he come from? secret training!!) claims Marvel for westcoast from (previously undefeated) Justin Wong (who got 4th oh how the mighty have fallen).

W. T. F.

I thought he retired back when Spiral, Doom, Blackheart were still considered top/near top tier O_O

Secret Monk training no doubt :)

Finally Jwong gives up the MvC2 crown, about damn time, he's held it for soooo long, so props to him for that.

Yuck, 3S Chun vs Chun :( Justin's Chun is pretty damn boring to watch (wtf am I talking about, all Chuns are boring to watch!) :lol

Damn, I haven't been keeping up with SRK.com, I'm surprised they didn't have Capcom Fighting Jam/Evo, I thought that's what everyone is playing in Japan =/

http://www.evo2k.com/

I'm pretty damn surprised that Tecmo sponsored, you think they'd at least have DoA2 Ultimate or 3/3.1 going on
