FChamp and Flocker are super consistent, PRRog not too far behind them. Flocker has never missed a top 8 in Ultimate (although there's a good chance he won't make top 8 EVO this year).

I would say that 4 of the top 8 would likely be one of these players (plus one of Apologyman/RayRay etc as they have been playing well) plus 3 B level players who got easy brackets or got lucky or something.

Would've been awesome if Capcom was able to make an update for Marvel before the contract expiring, and add 5-8 fan favorite characters from MvC2 into MvC3. But alas, this will never ever happen. The dream sequel would be MvC2 VS. MvC3. The best and most loved characters from both games packed into one.
