The game is back after several years of silence.

The studio (previously a one-person studio and five devs actually) announces a Kickstarter campaign.

Wishlist now available on Steam, Epic Games, and Xbox.

So incorporating parts of your defeated foes makes you bigger and gives you various power ups ?
Nice idea but how can you balance that ? The one who wins keeps getting better and better gear and abilities while those who lose stay with their basic stuff...

I only wish there was a bit more color to the units, i get it, military doesn't care for fashion, but man, that robot at the end i just kept thinking that some primary colors at all would be a nice addition.

Looks like mecha designed by Micheal Bay and for the record, that's not a compliment.
Tons of useless detail and glowy bits.

Looks slick, if it has an SP campaign, will definitely check it out.

Doesn't look like assets from the Epic store, but more like the Epic store itself made the game. Environment more generic than that is not something i've seen this year.

"We're Call of Duty and also Dark Souls."

Uh
no
Yeah, it's possible 🤷‍♂️

Forest Reigns is already kind of mixing the two (along with elements from Dishonored) and it looks good (so far):

Sure, but the difference is that game actually looks inspired and creative.
At this point Dark Souls and Call of Duty are literally the most creatively-bankrupt concepts one can find. And as it has been mentioned, this thing has the "art" of a Michael Bay movie. It feels like something an AI would spit out.

What about a mix of the two?

Only because a lot of people left the Michael Bay-style behind in the 2020s, so weirdly enough this sticks out due to that.
It sounds cursed, but just because it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean it's objectively bad (obviously). I personally feel it's trying too hard to be everything for everyone. I get really bad vibes from this footage, I guess.

But hey, who knows.
