Many accounts calling him innocent, showing pictures of him hugging fans and even puppies (no joke), etc. This is WBD's strat - soften his appearance as much as possible, seek sympathy while mentioning mental health, etc.
Their lawyers must be confident that he can skate past most of his cases with either settlements or minimal Hollywood-star slap on the wrist, community service type punishments.
I'd bet $100 that all of his most heinous outstanding civil-related cases get settled behind closed doors within the next month or two.

Yes their latest larceny charge was a felony in Vermont. Some of the claims made by others would rise to federal crimes were they to reach a criminal court, such as his providing narcotics to a minor. Which is why I am thinking those will be settled in civil settlements soon.
Edit: to my knowledge no charges were pressed by the private parties, no, which is leaving open the resolution of civil settlements

I know it may not be enough but I want you to know that how some people interpreted my actions does not reflect who I am. In fact no one could be more disgusted than me at what happened in these troubled times. It goes without saying that I have always been against hate in all its forms. I can't say enough that I deeply regret the unfortunate incident and how it affected the community.

From the articles I've read WB execs likely "convinced" Miller into seeking "help" so they can release the Flash. So he's getting a half year rehab/therapy (read: luxurious getaway vacation) on company money, which is:
a.) perfect for isolating him so he cant' do anymore damage to kids and company reputation
b.) cheaper than scrapping a 200 mil project with a slate of billion dollar future DCU projects riding on it, and
c.) long enough for the public to move on the to the next news cycle so they can release the damn film.
