Trial done. Guilty plea for trespassing, $500 fine + court fees + probation. All other charges (including the felony) have been dropped.
This is why people never learn.

Rules for thee.

And it's common for repeat offenders to push further and further until someone is hurt or dead.

Depends on the repeat offender. Some of them only commit the same nonviolent crimes. Others are violent repeat offenders with either mental health issues or they're true psychopaths. The mental health folks, some can be treated and turn their lives around. Some can't and are a danger to themselves and others.

Psychopaths can't be rehabilitated. At all.

Miller seems to fall into the former, not the latter. At least I'm hopeful of that... He needs intensive therapy... For a long time! This stuff has not been going on for decades... Something changed.

Imagine this fucking guy getting locked up for 26 years and you have an insanely expensive movie lined up where this asshole is the lead.

Man this movie was cursed from the start.

They could have fell back on, Cavil led Superman, but noooooooo!

No, because we have to keep rebooting Clark Kent in his 20's. Snooooozzzeeeeeee.

I for one would like to see aging superheroes. Not these mind numbingly lame reboots to keep them in their "glory years."
