EA should rot in hell for using Black Eyed Peas in SSX: Out of Bounds for N-Gage. Very nice game BTW, but if they are going to put their licensed shit on any capable handheld I will not touch their sport games ever again. Fucking Thrice playing while sliding down the mountain WTF?

PS: Both Xanadu and The One are going to convince some non believers.

Why are they actually giving an N-Gage game a decent budget? It's not like they're going to profit off it.
 
So do you actually have ssx? Ive seen the movies and stuff, it looks like its going to be a nice pick up for my QD.

Do you have any idea how the games have been selling lately? Not too well I guess..? considering widespread piracy.. Anyway, I think N-Gage (QD + original) is around 2 million units sold at the moment.
 
Do a lot of people have the N-Gage here? I replaced my old cell phone with a QD about 2 months ago.

Just yesterday it started acting up. Once I dial a number, the QD doesn't seem to transmit any post-connection key presses. I can't dial extensions, can't select menu options, hell - I can't even delete voice mails :(

Anyone experiece this problem?

You could try restoring all the original settings.... but you lose all your sms's and other saved stuff unless you have backup. Type *#7370# to restore original settings. But your QD is also under warranty so if you have easy access to service you could take your QD to there.

I think Nokia's contracted the games from Falcom exclusively... too bad as I'd kill for a tweaked DS port.

One looks amazing after watching the video, better than I thought N-Gage would ever manage. Batter lighting than most PS1 fighters actually (though environments being little more than VF1 style box stages probably helps there). Makes me want VF2 on DS or VF4 on PSP. :)

Thanks for that advice. I'm going to mess around with it a bit ... and if I have no luck, I'll reset it as you specified. I'm a bit buzzed up right now, so I should probably wait 'till the morning. :)
 
Hey, The One and Xanadu are looking pretty good. I would never ever consider owning an N-Gage, though. :P
 
Wow, Falcom developing for the NGage... wouldn't have expected that in a million years... well they always liked supporting the underdog, I guess :P

Ha ha, the N-Gage has a more interesting upcoming lineup than the DS. Who woulda thought? :P
 
Nokia are going to be abig player someday but right now is not the time to launch anew handheld. I am sure their next one will be great. They;ve got inherent advantages over anyone else. They should use them.

Its shipped less than that :p

You'll see many of these as DS enhanced ports.

Yeah you are probably correct. My memory served me wrong. :P I checked from press releases and 1st of September Nokia announced they had shipped one million N-Gages. But I would guess in this case shipped numbers are very, very close to sold numbers since I cant believe any retailer orders huge amount of N-Gages until there is demand. You know...considering the bad launch and all, heh. So probably they are at around 1.5 mil at the moment. I have heard QD has been selling pretty well here in Europe, especially after the price drop.

btw, speaking of mobile phone gaming, Legacy has been ported to series 60 phones. Its a nice Dungeon Master/Eye of the Beholder clone:

I am not one of the DS fanboys, but come on.....an RPG with cruddy graphics beats out Advance Wars, Final Fantasy III, Zelda, Metroid, and New Super Mario Brothers?
