F.I.S.T. forged in shadow (official launch trailer)

I don't understand why you would choose Rabbits as your main character and then proceed to make them gritty and not cute. It just seems weird to me. I guess Dux and Borman were kind of odd looking and that worked so maybe I am being too hard on this game.

Strider ps3-4 rip-off, but it seems a little more fast paced. Can't stand with the ugly character art and the dark setting, so I'll pass.

Looks like a 6/10 game and I'm perhaps being a tad generous there. Should have launched on PS+.

Day one for me. Played the Steam demo last year and was damn well impressed. I downloaded the new demo last month but I can't find it in my library anymore.

they should fist themselves in the asshole with that retarded name, as for the gameplay it reminds me of mighty no. 9 which looks ok i guess.

Yeah the game kinda reminded me of the last strider but i liked the demo of this one more, more varied combat mostly.

For people who cares about reviews, the metacritic is now at 83.

Reviews go from 9+ to 7.

P.s. jesus why in the fuck is the pc version not released on the same day of the console one?!

badass ?
Clunky maybe. This was never good
This is usually what people who is shit at playing overgrowth says :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

The game is very difficult to play correctly and it can look\feel clunky yeah, but when you get good is 100x more satisfying that all the modern games with fucking free flow combat system...you need skills to win.

The animation\hit reaction system alone is more advanced than 90% of modern games, just look at that leg swipe and spear launch, it's chef kiss.

You console crowds have very restricted minds sometimes,if something is not super polished and with super graphic, it is automatically shit, or maybe it's because the gifs doesn't look like moving into molasses like 30 fps console games...

Any idea when the pc release is?
No, these stupid cunts release a fucking demo on pc and then they release the game on console only first...

I almost want to wait the pc release but i'm pretty hyped for this thing and they say that ps5 aim for 4k60...

That's a weird thing of looking at it and has nothing to do with "being shit it".
Sekiro is also difficult but not due to the fault of user.
Lugaru whatever is just old physics based game. Clunky as fuck.
A bad designed game is what it is. It's not my fault.

The gifs can look cool but it's not that impressive to me

I'll wait for PC version if it really is metroidvania, which I doubt. I played the demo as well and it was fairly linear. 2D action does not equal mvania and a lot of ppl, devs included, confuse them a lot.

No it is not strange because the majority of people who didn't liked overgrowth was because they can't even understane how to play it, so that's my 2 go reaction everytime someone call that game shit.

If you watch someone who knows how to play, you can make the game look like a martial art movie more than any other game in the market.

The gifs are from overgrowth, lugaru was the old version with far less impressive animations.

Also the adaptive ia for the enemies is pretty advanced for a game like this, more impressive than a lot of modern games.

Too bad the game was not polished and remained in that early access limbo, exactly like exanima, another game with a fantastic animation\ia system.

It is a metroidvania 100% and to me it was pretty clear since the demo.

In the reviews you can see the map that is clearly metroidvania style and you obtain new stuff to open old areas from bosses etc like every metroidvania.

The demo was basically the first hour of the game , i was not surprised by the linearity at the beginning tbh.

Most people now dismissing this game will suddenly warm up to it as soon as it is released on certain other platforms a few months from now.

The animation physics system looks super fun but I always disliked how the game looked. Both technically and artistically.
So I never gave it too much chance...
Exanima is a good example. This one at least I like how it looks but omg is it a mess. Fun to toy with though.

IMO, animation cannot be fully physics based. There must be animations baked into it. Exatly like GTA IV euphoria did. niko does not ragdoll. His limbs contradict, try to grip etc. It's still impressive

I don't care much about reviews. If you saw it and have a screenshot, I'd love to glance at it.

Dude if you know me even a little you know that i gives 2 fucks about reviews, i just watch them to get analytical data like number of weapons or levels or seeing the map in this case.

I don't have a screen, imagine the map of ori but with a different art style.

If you liked the last strider metroidvania game, this one has a very similar feeling, but fairly bigger (less than 10 hours against more than 20 for fist).

You can see the map at 3:43, just go to to that minute if you only want to see the map.

Not a bad map. I'll still wait for it to drop on Steam tho. Didn't even know they had this console exclusivity bs since I played the demo on Steam a few months ago.

Same.

I think i'm gonna buy the console version because i have the plus discount and i really want to play this thing, also 4k60 on console, not sure if my pc can handle that (probably yes with dlss)

Although the next 2 weeks are straight fire for me between kena, deathloop and tails of iron...

I don't see a lot of people putting the game down. There is a lot of discussion about the art style but I haven't noticed people being hard on it for gameplay. It looks like a 2D platformer/ castlevania type game from what I can tell.

Based on the positive feedback I took a chance and bought it on PS5, won't get around to playing it for awhile as I am still working through Aliens, The ascent, and The Sinking City. As well the COD and Hood battle passes occupy too much of my time.
