When's this actually coming out? I enjoyed Fable quite a bit. In fact, it's my favorite RPG to be released on a console this generation. So for $20, I might pick up The Lost Chapters on Xbox.

You have to admire their dedication to cross-dressing heroes.

Not only will this probably be the game the original Fable should have been but it will be the price it should have sold for.

Even worse:

In the first Fable there was a dead-end path in Darkwood, but now it leads directly to the front door of a brothel. The developers have alluded to players being able to become a pimp and employ "fallen women" giving the aforementioned pimp-hat a real use. Of course, those jokers at Lionhead studios also allow the main character to dress as a woman and acquire male customers making this unique videogame situation even stranger.

"Be the game the original Fable should have been"? How do you figure?

The Lost Chapters doesn't "change" Fable, nor does it "fix" Fable... All it does do is add more to it. And really, are people that were disappointed with the original, suddenly going to be impressed when they get handed more of the stuff that disappointed them in the first place?

And it's worth noting that it's only cheap on XBox, as the PC version will be 49.99$.

Gonna have to pick up 2 copies, one of my friends just doesnt want to give this game (or any RPG) a chance.

Plus i get to support Molenuex, which makes parting with the extra $20 easier

Nothing has fundamentally changed. It's just fable with higher res textures, some new quests, and some new areas. Oh and archery with mouselook is hilariously easy.
