Fable is actually my favorite RPG on the Xbox. Above both KOTOR and Jade Empire. In fact I started playing it again this last Sunday. I might just trade it in, and get Lost Chapters which on Xbox is only $20.

I don't know why, maybe because it has one of a kind, perfect flow? and reminds me of Zelda oh-so-much?

TLC is about 2-3 hours long so short that it sucks ass. 6 new maps (small!) and one new big quest - kill Jack of Blades once again! The shitty part is that you have to do a major part of this quest on the MAINLAND (areas from original Fable). That SUCKS ASS even more! You re-visit Arena, Circle of Dead and Oakvale to finally meet JoB in his new form - a big red dragon. The last battle is pathetically easy - slow-time + multihit for the win, and it is SO similiar to Metroid Prime's Ridley fight that it ain't funny.
I rated Fable 10/10 on my personal scale, TLC gets 2/10 for being:
- short
- easy
- and for the hated backtracking

If you do everything the "wrong" way (kill the good guys) it takes maybe 60 minutes to finish. 60 MINUTES! That's really weak

I enjoyed Fable. I thought it was a fun action RPG that had a lot of character to it, but I agree that it didn't live up to the hype that Molyneux built it up to be. It was also way too short, and didn't offer enough free roaming exploration. Still, I enjoyed it enough that I thought about picking up The Lost Chapters, but if it really doesn't add much extra play time, I'll pass. I look forward to the possibilities of Fable 2 on Xbox 360.

long? I thought it was the complete original game with new quests integrated, not a separate side quest.

wtf?! Molyneux said this game would add 6 hours to the game...ffs! Is that all that has been added then? I won't fucking bother buying it if that's all it is.

I enjoyed this game more than most. I didn't read much about it pre-release so I really had no expectations. I thought the game had a certain charm to it. I probably got a good 15 hours out of the game, but I did practically every quest and opened most of the demon doors. I find it hard to believe that people claim to have beaten this game in 6-7 hours. Maybe they did, but they sure as hell skipped through most of the dialogue, most of the quests, and probably a good half of the game.

Yeah I played it on a PC (mid-range) and it ran like DREAM. Looks absolutely fabulous with AA and in higher resolutions but controls like... a console game controlled with K&M. I don't know if it allows for gamepad control (in-game graphics shows mouse buttons) but it would certainly play better with a gamepad.
So...
...pick whatever version you want, Ghost.
I heard it's only $20 for the Xbox one! so it should be a no-brainer ($30 in your pocket saved).

I did almost everything in the original "campaign" and it took me 21 hours. TLC took me 3 hours and I also did everything in there plus had to level up a bit cause

I recently saw the video review for the PC version-apparently the new stuff comes after you've beaten the original game? Kinda blows,but then as long as its fun and has a nice flow to the original then thats all that matters.

I could have sworn that I saw it for this price at stores like Best Buy,Target,and BlockBuster Video.
Hopefully they add memory card support this time around,I love backing my favorites to a card incase I have another Xbox die on me.
