Interesting. Stopped by the bank during lunch to drop off some Ebay pmts from getting rid of lesser games, and the USPS m/o comes under scrutiny. Inquiring as to what might be considered so special about it, they explained that someone out there had made an apparently convincing run of false USPS money orders.

Any others encounter this?

I was selling something on craigslist and some scammer from England said he'd pay me $1000 for it so i started stringing him along and said "ok i'll sell it to you" and I gave him my old address to mail it to and it actually got forwarded to my new address. I opened the envelope and lo and behold there were 2 USPS money orders for $500 each. It was temping to try and actually cash them but I just ripped them up and that was the end of it.

True, search engine results are readily available, but I was actually wondering if other GAF members had experienced this directly.

Synth_floyd had a good one there. Mine was merely a $30 m/o but still they had to call it in and waste 5 minutes of everybody's time.

I usually cash them at the post office, the same time I send the person's package so I've never had a problem.
