I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it definitely won't be getting a second season. I mean, such an event seems extremely unlikely.

I know how I called Oh! My Goddess a manga for girls back in the 90s. I was so wrong. But in my defense I was young and silly. Now, I'm still silly but not young anymore, so I love this stuff so much.

It's probably been a prevalent problem throughout the series, but how the noses are occasionally drawn like a tilted V bother me more than the hair designs.

You and I can get along. Word of advice, there are a lot, and I do mean a lot, of vocal haters for this show in here. Applicable statement to anything KEY and really any kind of show like a KEY series.

I hate the OVA, I hate the show and most of all I hate that god damn opening. I thought I buried it inside the deepest caresses of my mind but you have unleashed this villainous monstrosity upon all of us :(

More than those guys, I'm really interested in the culture of the POG Givers. It really seems like they have absolutely no problem outright murdering people who can't solve their puzzles. We aren't going to see stuff like that based on the tone of the show, but with the introduction of Luke, it does raise some questions just how far this organization has gone and why.

Kaito's parents? I thought it seemed that there is some sort of internal division among the POG. It seemed it was hinted at based on the school and Jikugawa and a few of the sentimental givers of the past. Whoever gave the orders to Far East President has a different objective than the ones with Luke.

A Nico Nico Douga server developer had challenged Japanese viewers of the film to try to crash the Nico Nico Douga website during the moment that the main characters Pazu and Sheeta say the spell word "balse" at the climax of the film (Nico Nico Douga simultaneously streamed the film as it was airing in Japan). Fans across Japan used social websites to say the spell together with the two characters. During that moment in the film, Japanese Twitter posters set a world record of 11,349 tweets per second.

So, the outcome was never really in question, but I found it kind of funny how they tried to - in the very last minute - make you sympathize with the opposing team. Which, in itself, is fine because that's how Japanese sports fiction seems to work, but it's like they forgot that the guy was an ass last week. It's just some weird characterization quirk that probably popped over from the manga and should have been rewritten.

Also, I just realized that Arata's accent makes him sound Korean. Haha.

Finally, some Chihaya-eyes for people who are into such things:

I was thinking it was going to be Coco, granny showing up was hilarious. Although I assume Coco is there as well.

It fell in my watching for a bit but they were giving it the proper treatment. They even undid some of the anime-only arcs when they did the recap events. It seems like they were pretty serious on giving it the proper finale. At least early on, anyway. I'm planning to catch back up soon and I'll see how it's like.

ZnT season 2 didn't live up to the expectations it created for itself, but it managed to be almost as good as season 1 because of the semi-epic finale. Season 3 should be buried in an unmarked grave and forgotten about.

The reason there is hope for season 4 is that the author of the LNs will be supervising the final season personally. This is something that never happened with seasons 1-3. The original staff from season 1, including the director, will be back as well. Season 2 and 3 had a different director and staff than season 1.

The ending song is much better though.

Solid eps. Man I'm a sucker for shows about card/board games. I even enjoyed Yugioh stuff for the most part (not digging Zexal much though).
