Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

Awesome to get the GCU discount on the pip boy edition, brings it down to only $96. One of the few series I'll willingly still preorder/get the CE. Won't even do that for Halo anymore.

Um, he said 'wife' so he's already married her?

Eh, $120 for a piece of cheap plastic is just too much for me. I swore off CE's after giving into the SWTOR one those years back. I want my $125 back.

Pre-ordered.

The first teaser trailer didn't do it for me, and i was actually worried i might be letting this title go this time around.
But seeing the Bethesda E3 reveal, it was soooo much better.

Can't wait till i design my own place.

$190 at EB Games for the Aussies.

Is there any cheaper way to get it?

Australia-wise, no. Its exclusive to EB.

I have a PC one pre-ordered but the $189 tag in Australia has me thinking twice now. Probably just cancel it and buy a digital copy on Nuuvem come launch week for $25.

As Todd said for a gimmick, this is the best thing ever. Really fun concept and looks good. I know that my neighbour will do anything to get one of these!

That will run you USD$145.47 or AUD$188.45. Considering it wouldn't ship from the US to Tuesday or Wednesday (AU time) you'd be lucky to have it that same week. Is that really worth saving ~$2? Unless you have a 28 degrees card or something similar to waive the currency conversion fees you'd be losing money after the fee from your bank.

Ah your right sorry, i had some credit i didnt notice it used. Carry on.

Preordered it from Amazon.

I would do it from Best Buy, but Amazon doesn't charge on pre-orders till it ships and worst case scenario, I can get it from Best Buy if they open up pre-orders again for the PS4 version.

Ah good, I didn't miss the PC pipboy edition, excellent. Came out to be over $40 less than my amazon order of the exact same thing.

I'd say it's not often that the whole "Gamer's Club" thing doesn't pay itself off in just one purchase, but I'd be lying. EVERY CE I get from them pays it off again. :D

Come on Europe! Let us pre-order already!
I'm expecting it to be a GAME exclusive in the UK. These things usually are.

Amazon updated their page to describe the game by itself as "Standard Edition", and they had it up for pre-order earlier and then took it down. There's a placeholder page here which is what shows up when I click it in my order. So it will probably be there.

Why the hell is the PC download version £12 more expensive than the physical one, which will just have a steam key in the box anyway?

£12?

I know PC is cheaper than console but still that's crazy.

I'm wondering if the code is actually for one of the older games but has been mislabelled.

Missed out 'more expensive'. PC download version is more expensive than console physical version. And the PC physical version will have a download code anyway.

Why can't we have nice apps on the Vita like the Pip-Boy?...

Would make sense for the PS4 version, but I guess they don't want the extra effort of a developing a third version for another OS.

Bear in mind also, a version for the Vita would need different internals if they plan to make so the pip boy can fit the machine itself and be wrist wearable.

already had fallout 4 preordered on steam but couldnt pass this up so bought this just for the pipboy and will give the extra game to a friend of mine

Thanks, preordered Xbox One edition even though I'll be playing the game on pc. I want that Pip-boy

I hope there's an android app. I'd like to be able to use my
blackberry
lol.

I'm not sure of what to think of it, to be honest.

On one hand, it's a neat/cool/unique idea and something I'd like to see and try in person. However, on the other, it does look a bit cheap and it's nothing I'd ever use.

With my OCD, I can't touch anything but my controller or games while gaming, so I wouldn't be able to use an everyday use cellphone while gaming. I don't really want to, either.
