Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

I was totally on board until I realised it's a big plastic bracelet that you put your phone in.

Laughed so hard I almost Pipped my pants.

Ugh that would suck. This is probably over the weight limit they have on orders shipped internationally.
 
Meh I'm over these kind of knick-knacks. I'd rather save some money and spend it on more games. I used to buy these things all the time, but here they are, sitting in a box taking up space.
 
Exclusive to GAME? well fuck that shit I'll just get the normal edition off Steam and tape my phone to my arm.
 
Preordered first thing this morning, as in, literally as soon as I woke up.

Both the Xbox One and PS4 versions, because I can't decide yet.
 
Anyone know where I can get this in the UK? Can't find any pre-order sites and I dont want to have to get mine off the scalpers.

Still no sign of a UK price. As much as I like the look of the pipboy I don't think I can justify £100 on it, especially when it's just plastic and there's not even a list of handsets that will fit and it'll probably be built for iPhone if the mobile game is anything to go by.
I can justify £70-80, but really not anymore.
 
I wanted one last night, but after waking up and seeing the demonstration, I'll pass and will hope there is a LE or something. I don't even have a phone to fit, and I don't like the plastic glossy appearance.

According to one news story I was looking at (pretty sure it was Polygon), it was claimed to be £99.

Expected but fuck. Fucking mother fucking GAME and all the fucking exclusive editions fuck them why do fucking publishers or whatever keep fucking giving them the fucking exclusive on versions and shit? FUCK. Can't they just go under already? Why did they have to make a comeback?

This. I even preordered on Amazon but I think I'll cancel now. It looks kinda stupid and $120....

Still not even sold on the game as it is. Looked really rough in some places, particularly the combat. E3 hype almost got me

That seems the most likely really. Just too much to be worthwhile really now that some of the hype is dying down.
Suspect GAME have lost some potential pre-orders from taking so long to get it on their site.

I was considering this last night in the hype of the moment but the app works without the cheap plastic surrounding. So why bother. With bloodborne I realized that metal casings is a phase I'm done with. All digital now baby

£99.99 is the RRP, so unless GAME charge more than that, any issues with price should be directed at Bethesda themselves.
 
I'm so disappointed the controls on the device don't work, are just there for show. Seeing how the pip-boy controlled in the game made me want a real one, but this thing is just a case for your touchscreen phone, nothing more. I woulda preordered in a heartbeat if it's knobs could communicate with the phone over Bluetooth.
