Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition

So I finally got it today, and one of the clasps on the front is broken. I'd post a pic, but I'm on mobile.

I think this might be the last thing I get from amazon. The clasp that broke off isn't even in the box it shipped in.
 
A Best Buy employee on CAG posted that you can still order some through OMS in store. Must be paid in full. Certain locations only! Good luck!
 
Finally got my amazon order today and all is well. I got it a day late even though my copy was reserved for release day shipping. It works fine, nothing broken.

My Amazon order came in yesterday and everything was perfect. Didn't try on the pip boy and just displayed it on my shelf. I love the thing.
 
I'm not sure who it was here who posted about the Amazon France availability last week, but my Pip-Boy is on the van in the UK for delivery today. Thanks! I ended up getting it cheaper than it's available in the UK (due to the Euro exchange rate) and delivered within two days.

After so many people talking about how it doesn't come with the pass over the weeks up to launch, and the fact that every retailer description plainly listed what was included, I'm finding it hard to believe people are suddenly shocked that it doesn't have the pass included.

Yes, for the price, one could argue it should have been included, but that's also the price paid for an actually limited LE.

I received this as a gift, I thought I was getting the standard edition but got pip boy. So after from the steenbok and pip boy I had no idea what else was in the box.
 
Well... mines supposed to ship today. Here's hoping *crosses fingers*

Edit: Hooray it shipped! Now I just have to wait until Monday
 
I was pretty pleased with it apart from doing the thing where I pressed the black button down (still can't get the fucker back where it should be). It's made of plastic but what did people expect? was quite impressed by how well it functioned as a working pipboy.

I did the same thing. Mine is pushed in and I can't get it back in place. Is there a fix for this?
 
I'm worried for my pipboy now, i only briefly opened it and tried to fit in my iphone 5s but found it was unbelievably snug - i'm going to get some cheap foam to custom make my own i think

but all these buttons breaking, lose rubber?
tempted to flip it, but then who's going to buy them if they are cluster fucks?

Whats a galaxy S3 like in them? i have a spare one i never sold, so i'm tempted to keep it just for the pipboy

Same, mine arrived yesterday. It magically sat in New Jersey for over twelve hours and then ... poof! ... was suddenly at my local depot and out for delivery.

Naturally, it goes out on the truck at 7 AM but doesn't get to my place until after 4:30 PM.

I do think they cheaped out on the install - it's not even a full dual-layer DVD worth of data, you still have to download 20 GB off of steam. Even with my 50mb connection it took over half an hour before I could actually start the game.
 
You guys actually use yours? I almost immediately just put it on the stand and never touched it. Now I'm curious from mine is broken, but I'll just play more Fallout until then.

Been using it every day. I think it's going to have me using it more than I thought. I figured I'd use it for 2 days and then not want to bother setting it up and using it as a display. Instead I'm such a dork I love playing using it. But then a big part of bethesda games to me is that it allows me to pretend I'm in that world and this just helps it more.

Though I already broke the light on top pushing it in trying to figure what turns on the lights.

I considered using it but after reading how people managed to easily break it without too much effort I decided to just use it as a display piece instead.
 
Praise Jebus, amazon.fr finally decided to set my Pip-Boy edition free and it finally arrived at my home!

Now i have to things to get all nervous and giddy about tonight, the new Direct and the quality/condition of my Pip-Boy!
 
My roommate's came yesterday. Good condition, works well, looks great. Though the app is a battery sucker. Almost regretting selling mine only for that sweet sweet steelbook.

Customer service rep told me I would only have received one with the regular game, not the CE, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten certs for pre-orders on limited edition stuff before.

$10 usually takes 2-3 weeks to be added, that way you don't buy it and return it.

Not sure if talked about but this thing is super easy to take apart. I fixed my buttons by removing the covering and screwing them in tighter. You'll notice that there's a lot of screws missing to save cents on the cents.

I was really surprised at how cheap it feels. But it looks just fine on a shelf.
 
Is there any way to exit the app using an on screen command? Right now I have to open the Pip Boy to get to my phone's back button to exit the app so I can power off the phone.

Good to know. If I'm ever feeling crafty I may try and put a little spring under that top button so that it'll actually move properly.

This is what they told me. The PS4 sleave had cracked on tore on the playstation symbol. All i had in box was a peice of wax paper. Ridiculous. He just said order another when it comes in stock.
 
Best Buy by me received more console ones last night. Picked up a ps4 version since I regretted giving my pc one to my friend. I'll keep the pip boy and give the ps4 copy to my nephew or something.

Oh yeah, I'm sending the broken one back to the store first thing in the morning. They originally said I'd get a replacement around Dec. 8th and gave me a return slip for the broken one, but there was no way I was sending mine off before they delivered. Surprisingly enough the very next day they had a Tracking # for it. So I'll be dropping it off at a store and that'll be that!

Nice, good on Best Buy for handling that so promptly.
 
Had some scuffs on my case, steel book was fine but overall unhappy with the Pip Boy. Also my case won't shut fully and that bugs me. Had a talk with Amazon CS and they were willing to give me 50% back since they couldn't replace it with a new one. I did haggle with them a bit on refund price but they were nice. I was just super nice to them.

The pip boy seems so fragile and I pushed they top button in immediately like a lot of you. Guess it's going to just sit on the shelf, it's slightly uncomfortable to wear anyway. In terms of how it looks I do think it's cool looking.
 
I can't get the iPhone 6 to fit inside this thing no matter what I do. I am following the steps in the pocket but its just going in.

Edit: Okay I had to be pretty forceful with it. Now the app isn't finding my game at all.. I've turned the setting on, restart the games a bunch of times.
