just like to add for non-.hack fans that "fragment" is the name of the (fictional) predecessor to "the world", the (fictional) MMO .hack takes place in.

which may make this a prequel, and it's cool!

That doesn't seem to be the case though. They seem to simply want to use the Fragment name. The game itself is obviously not a sequel since it takes place on The World and in offline mode you can meet and recruit all the characters from every part of the series in the past. :\

Well, I think he simply meant "What? No scans of new DS games?"... I agree too, I would have liked to see Tengai Makyou 2 DS scans but apparently there weren't any pics.

Co-development. Artdink's know-how on online gaming was consulted for Fragment and eventually they went onboard as collaborators. There are two directors of Fragment, from CC2 is the director of the .hack series on from Artdink is the director of A-Train 6.

If there is one does anyone know the alt+ command to make that backwards "ä" as seen in the Fragment title?

In the .hack// universe Fragment was the prototype of "The World" so maybe a true online version of the game will hit PS3 with dedicated servers and fees as opposed to this mishmash PS2+PC linkup stuff.
