Glad to see at least two of the reviewers are correct about King Kong (hint: not the first two scores). :)
 
Everyparty must be horrible. 5s in a Japanese gaming mag, especially a licensed one, is like a 1 or 2 in a US mag. :P
 
In closing, editor Hirokazu Hamamura's weekly column is titled, simply, 'Rogue Galaxy is awesome'. I could have told you that; when he says it, though, it sounds so much more definitive.

I don't really think Famitsu's bad, but they don't really seem to be that much better than alot of other mags. That Shadow score though, I don't really get that.

That was an extremely enjoyable read. I really liked the author's style; kind of layed back, poking fun at stuff, but also suprisingly insightful.

What the hell? That was one of the most infuriatingly wanky articles I've read in a while. The "insight" was all vapid BS.

I think this month's Famitsu Xbox 360 is released with a DVD full of videos. Hopefully there will be some new stuff in there :)
 
Isn't RR6 supposed to be crap? I seriously don't trust Famitsu when it comes to racing games. I remember they gave GT4 a near perfect score (10/10/9/10) and gave the inifinitely superior Forza 9/9/8/7. Not to mention PGR 2 got straight 8s.

If you want to mention a crap review, you *really* should mention R:Racing Evolution getting 4*8. I don't think anyone could agree with this score. Or is it just me?

they do - but in R:Evo's case, something was _still_ up! ;)

re: Ridge being crap - i'm really enjoying it! Especially now the races are getting more challenging. I've played Ridge way more than Gotham so far. Either that shows i have rubbish taste or there is something about Ridge that keeps pulling me back

No, this guy is William Rogers. Tim Rogers is also full of crap, but at least he's doing something fresh, trying to fill what I think is a legitimate hole in the world of video-game commentary, and his work is intermittently clever and entertaining and contains here and there a nugget of insight strewn amongst the BS and self-indulgence. His bastard child William seems to have inherited all of Tim's bad traits and none of his occasional saving graces.

My favorite bit was the last paragraph where he goes on about Lost Odyssey, Rogue Galaxy and SaGa Frontier using the same font for their logo. This isn't even true --- they're similar insofar as they all imitate Japanese brush writing, as applied to Roman letters, but there are pretty clear stylistic differences between them --- and it's a retarded way to end a two-page article regardless. Is there a point he thinks he's making?
 
In that article, sakaguchi say he making a third game not yet announced, someone which have read his interview on famitsu, know if he say it's another game for xbox 360 ?
