Farewell interview with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 😆

What sane person would do a farewell interview after getting sacked.

There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.

What a joke of a spell for United. I don’t like United and I’d enjoy seeing them sink further, however, I empathize with the fans. I am right now struggling with Barcelona and I can feel the pain.

He is and always will be a legend. Though I am glad he is no longer the manager I would be lying if I said I didn't feel bad for him. It would have been beautiful for him to succeed and win even one piece of silverware. However, he has lived his dream and how many of us football fans can truly say that.

Good luck with whatever is next, Ole.

I bet their next manager will be someone like Mancini or similar.. predictable, uninspiring, sacked after struggling to deal with an awful squad

They should have also sacked his assistants and coaches. Useless the lot of them. And Solksjaer failed miserably because he was too stubborn and continuously picked the wrong players. Also, bad coaching and tactics.

I think they're gonna try to get Zidane who's already managed Ronaldo and Varane. Zidane is waiting for the France job to become open but that might not happen that soon, especially if Deschamps does well in Qatar. I think he would be a good fit for united, he favors attacking play.

Zidane already said non. I think we’ll be stuck with an interim until the end of the season and then we’ll get Poch.

I wonder if he'd be a good pick, I have a feeling that a lot of his success was born off having inherited great players and having a great club setup surrounding him, Man Utd needs a huge personality with fresh ideas, i say again a tuchel or a poch... adn the will to let them make the decisions.. ah well, we'll see

In that case then Pep Guardiola is unproven as well because he only managed big clubs with great players. But even so, Pep never managed to win 3 Champions Leagues in a row, I don't even think he's won 2 in a row.

There is no denying that Zidane is a good manager but is he a world class manager one of the best ? His Real Madrid squad was one of the best in their history stacked with talent that helped a lot.

Record-wise that's fair, but pep seems to be a much more tactically minded, micromanaging coach who is very demanding about having control of the whole deal.. Zidane, don't get me wrong he's my favourite player oat, but i don't think he has shown any such.. insanity lol

Forget about B tier managers like Benitez and Ancelloti who can do a decent job every now and then under the right circumstances. This guy isn't even in the C tier list of managers with people like Ronald Koeman. I mean WTF.

He's trying to communicate that he knows it didn't work out for him and leave on a heartfelt and honest note. Hardly any need to take more digs at him.
