I need help chosing my new oled tv

Places that show tvs usually have vivid mode on to make them look all bright and colorful, it is a waste of time and sicily is not exactly avangarde when it comes to tech, most places don't even have panasonic tv or the top gamma tvs to show...

You're pickier than me. Buy a CRT then.

Color volume also matter for sdr content, it's not just for hdr, even if it is a 20% improvement, buying a tv with a inferior panel would not sit well with me.

But i play like 1-2 games per year with hdr when i use my ps5 so i guess it matter a tiny bit, i just don't use it on pc because i'm too lazy to change setting on pc on a game per game basis and let's be honest, very few games have accurate hdr even nowadays.

Yeah in that case, just go with the G5. It's the best for gaming, no question.

for gaming, never buy a Sony. that's advice 1.

advice 2, don't buy a Samsung unless you are ready to deal with their slow UI. they have good gaming features but their OS is ass.

advice 3, LG is the best all around package, and I don't think you will get very noticeably better image quality on any other brand given how similar nearly all high end OLED screens look these days.

if you want the best gaming TV, I think the LG G5 is probably the king,
followed by the Samsung S95F
This whole topic was just me searching an excuse to not buy the panasonic because it cost way more than the others...

I loved all my panasonic tv, both plasma and oleds.

SAmsung was out of the discussion when i readed that it has a "connection box" or whatever the fuck it is that can cause multiple problems when attached to a pc.

Sony is out of the discussion because i read that it is the less color accurate out of the box.

So it is between the pana and the g5 with a whopping 1000 euros price difference.

I really don't need the 4 port, i only need 2 and panasonic has the best thermal tech so they are probably the best when it comes to burn in resistance and i kinda torture my oled as a pc monitor...hearing that the g5 is more prone to burn in than a freakin c1 is nightmare fuel...

the Panasonic Z95B seems really good all around.

I didn't know it was that much more expensive tho 😳

What kind of problems? I've had no issues with several Samsung TVs with their connect box when doing some PC gaming on TV.

they are kinda the apple of tv producers, even more than sony.

not sure precisely but it was the big negative of the samsung on reddit and i know myself, i hate dealing with this shit.

1. Sony Bravia 8ii (or the older A95L). The only one I have personal experience with, sort of (so maybe I'm a bit biased). I picked up an A95L a few months back (very similar to 8ii) and it's great. Haven't tried g-sync but Rtings says it's compatible. Otherwise it meets your requirements. Just be aware that the TV's legs sit the entire width of the TV. If you're not wall mounting you may need an aftermarket stand+mount.
2. Panasonic Z95B. Never seen one in person since it's only sold through amazon in the US, but all reviews say picture quality is good and out of the box settings are accurate. Most reviews say it's better than LG G5. Vincent from HDTVtest seemed to really like it, but Sony won his shootout, and within the shootout Sony scored highest in categories for out-of-the-box color accuracy and handling content near black.
3. LG C5. If you truly don't care about HDR or higher brightness then even something midrange like LG C5 would probably work. I've seen online that LG allows for higher brightness in SDR game mode than previous C-series TVs, so will probably look less muted in that mode compared to your C1.

S90C is old, the S90F is an amazing OLED.

How is the S90C old? Came out in 2023. And what does it have to do with anything. The OS is shit no matter if what version of Tyzen it uses. Your post makes no sense at all. And most likely you have no clue what you're talking about. GTFO here with the S90C is old bullshit
