Farming Simulator 25 peaks with 126k concurrent users at launch.

Fascinating that a farming job simulator gets these types of numbers. The job sim genre has kinda exploded, house flipping games, lawn mowing simulators, cleaning crew games, truck driver sims, train sims, the list goes on and on.

Love it. Haven't played many myself for any amount of time but I can absolutely understand why.

They fulfill that need for a menial task you can do in the background and have a podcast on or music they are so chill.

I just got NMS for my pro just to check it out and I can't stop playing the relaxed mode. It's just a vibe.

I used to shit on the Farming Simulators, Euro Truck simulators and the like until I actually tried them. They are like crack cocaine. A surprisingly decent alternative to the AAA slop that we all get shoved down our throats thesedays. The very definition of "Don't knock it until you've tried it"

The medium is all about escapism, and these games absolutely offer that in their own way.

That was the most entertaining gaming video I've watched in like at least a year.

Thinking about it now, It feels like its been ages where I've seen a video where just the video and music tell the story, without 20 mins of annoying talk that goes nowhere and could be shortened to a few minutes, sponsors, etc. Pretty rare nowadays.
