That line has definitely taken on a new meaning. I wonder if they'll edit that out completely from the final film.

The writers have a near impossible job handling this situation.

Haven't seen any of the movies as my impression is that they are "just" action flicks but I might give it a go.

That's certainly true about the 5th film which I thought was terrible but the 6th film definitely had cars in it and it was a blast to watch, probably the 3rd best film in the franchise.

Just watch one (its ok), 4 (it sucks, but it sets up) and then 5 and 6.

5 and 6 are FANTASTIC action movies. So much fun. The quality leap is nuts

It really is going to be an incredible feat for them to make this film work without Walker. Will it be bookended with funeral scenes? Is this the dark middle chapter of the Fast and Furious saga? (Yes. These films WILL hit #13.)
