The composers had to make sure that these songs sounded great for potentially hours, which meant the music had to be remarkable.

There's just something about hearing the DS2 character creator theme to me that makes me want to do another playthrough. It's a theme that just draws you in.

DS1 achieves a similar effect in it's own way.
