Now that we have more Warhammer 40,000 video games galore and the quality has been pretty good and consistent, was wondering what everyone's favorite 40k games are?

I'm going to go with none other than Rogue Trader. I don't know if people here remember but years ago I made threads about wanting a Rogue Trader CRPG long before Owlcat announced. It's quite funny because I've had at least one person say it wouldn't even be possible. And it became possible and it's one of the most best 40k games out there.

If I had to go for a second runner up, it would be Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, an X-com type game that's very unfortunately only available on Steam and includes the dreaded Denuvo. Seriously hoping this gets a GOG release one day considering most 40k games, including Rogue Trader, are on there DRM free.

Space Marine 1, Space Marine 2 and Mechanicus are my favorites.

Want to give Rogue Trader a go, once all the DLC is out and it's on sale. The setting is really captivating and I'm sure a CRPG would help me dive deeper into it.

The original Space Marine was pretty much my introduction to Warhammer 40k and 40k gaming.

Dawn of War

Damn that's a good one too. How was the remaster? Wonder if it fixes the pathfinding, it was the only thing I didn't like about the original game.

I didn't even know there was a remaster. It's been added to my wishlist now.

Except maybe Dawn of War 2, but it's a totally different game

Total War Warhammer III - by default as I hate how CA treated this game
Darktide - very fun in coop
Space Marine 1 - still a great TPS
DoW II - best WH RTS?

Those are my favorite, plenty of good titles honestly.

The latter one looks good and I'm all for 40k Diablo but don't really care for the online requirement at least when it comes to the expansions.

Definitely Space Marines 2. Otherwise, Fire Warrior on PS2 holds a place in my heart. Mostly nostalgia.
Also 3 years solid into Tacticus on mobile.

It's Rogue Trader.

But Space Marine 1 and 2, Dawn of War, Mechanicus, etc are all solid choices.

Another favorite of mine would be Chaos Gate: Daemon Hunters.

It's basically "what if we make XCOM but Warhammer" with just enough mechanical tweaks to fit the different playstyle you would expect from commanding durable space marines over frail human soldiers.

And it's a fucking blast.

I've only played Darktide. Damned good fun, but I prefer the Vermintide games, personally.

Best 40K is for sure Rogue Trader. Such an amazing game

There are a lot of good ones actually, And on the horizon we have both Dawn of War 4 as well as Total War 40k (and TW Warhammer 3 is the best WH fantasy game)
