I have plenty of favourites but it would have to be the European courses in PGR 2, and the Nurburgring in any game.

Post pics if poss please :p

Seaside Route 765

The best track, the best music, the best final level of any game.

Unlike most all other tracks, you had to have skill and practice invested to even finish.

Too bad only the SNES version got it right.

GT4's Suzuka and Nurburgring, driving the Honda NSX-R of course.

Istanbul in Formula One '05

Spa Francorchamps in Grand Prix 4

Assen and Philip Island in Moto GP

Those desk levels from Micromachines, kitchen ones were pretty good too, Death Wind from F-Zero, Rainbow Road from SNES Mario Kart, Bloodgulch and Death Island Halo PC Race, and original Wipeout tracks.

The Lightning track - F-Zero AX

White Mountain Forward - Burnout Revenge

Bowser Castle 1 - Super Mario Kart

That's a great choice, I love that track

For realistic tracks I'm a big Laguna Seca fan (in all the games it's in, including forza and GT4 (great with DFP wheel))

Yep, I could only beat it with the help of my brother who kept on screwing the others while I tried to run as fast as I could...Later on, I was able to do incredible drifting there...

1. Special Stage R11 [From Gran Turismo 1, the one in GT3 sucked]
2. Above the City [From RRV]
3. Downtown Rave City [From Ridge Racer PSP]
4. Rainbow Road [From Super Mario Kart]
5. Green Plant [From F-Zero GX]
6. Tokyo R246 [From Gran Turismo 3]
7. RT4 mix (a lot of good tracks there...what a pitty the handling sucked)
8. DarkMoon Caverns [From Diddy Kong Racing]
9. Mute City II [From F-Zero]
10. GrindenWald [From Gran Turismo 2]

Desert, mountain, etc (though not the last track) - Sega Rally Championship
First two tracks - Ridge Racer Revolution
Almost all tracks - Battle Gear 3

GT4/3 Cote d'Azur. I love going through the tunnel and coming out with such a great seaside view. Racing wise Circuit de Catalunya has probably been my favorite since LeMans 24hrs.

it's hard getting this list down to a few....

Sega Rally - desert, forest and mountain, all superlative.. with the wheel this accounts for more than 3/4 of my saturn playtime, easily (used to try get perfect 3 courses in a row, taking turns with my friend)

Waverace 64 - drake lake and port blue (but could have easily been all of them). Port blue is fantastic when you go through the shortcut tunnel .. you can barely see the perfect angle through the turns and when you get it, it's such a rush. drake lake cause of the serenity - nothing teaches you how to use analog (back in the day) than having to weave through those buoys and posts.

fzero gx - god almost all of them again.. personal favs: serial gaps and lateral shift on master, on a screen the size of a wall - this has got to be the most exhilarating racing experience ever.

f-zero - port town, big blue and mute city - its the music that makes it :)

f zero X - lots again but i liked big blue 2, fire field (gotta love lifting off going down the slope) and port town 2

mario kart - any track (cept last ice course!) - but rainbow road, bowsers castles and mario circuit 2 take the cake for me

mario kart 64 - mario circuit and trying to jump that wall with a mushroom 3 times in a row over and over and over and over again.. so good!

wipeout 2097/XL - all tracks.. but my favs are phenitia park and gare de europa - phantom + piranha of course!

ok i better stop i guess ;)

Real circuits:

Laguna Seca
Motegi (the longest version)
Nurburgring Northsleifwoertsdfnwoetuieirutsdigd (or whatever it's called)
Bathurst

Fictive:

El Capitain
Grinderwald
Redrock Speedway
Alpine (NFS1)

City, Night - Sega Super GT
Phenitia Park - Wipeout XL
Akagi, Downhill - Initial D: Second Stage
Jackknife Ascent - Rallisport Challenge 2

Those were the first to come to mind :O

I second this motion, and also suggest the F-Zero GX cousin of this outstanding track.
