FFVII: Remake Trailer

Get over it. The old FF VII battle system is not what they wanted for this game. The whiners are a vocal minority and they'll probably buy it anyway.

All the whining in the world is not gonna make them go back and turn it into a turn-based nostalgia wank.
Never say never, my friend. When 2K games announced that an X-COM reboot would be a first person shooter (while the IP used to be a turn-based strategy game) the uproar and vitriol was so great that A) the fps was cancelled - eventually turning into an over the shoulder team-based shooter and B) a true actual reboot was made as turn-based strategy game, which ended up being amazing and one of my favorite games of all time.

I have nothing against turn-based JRPGs, I love them. But the turn-based formula of the FF games was never amazing to begin with. I mean, I recently bought FF2 for my mobile and I find it a complete, utter bore. I went drowsy and sleepy while exploring a dungeon and literally fell asleep in my bed after a while. And sure, an FFVII remake still retaining the turn-based formula could be improved and be vastly superior than the original, but at the same time I don't have a problem with the series going action hack and slash with some RPG elements.

FF I - III had the original turn based system. IV - X-2 had variations of ATB. ATB massively changed the game on turned based combat.

In the meantime Sony Playstation is pushing the Hype a lot for
Final Fantasy VII Remake on its Twitter page.

Looking forward to the big news coming soon for E3 2019 :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

The concert dedicated to Final Fantasy VII is coming.

And with it the next news regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

By now there are less than 7 days to the arrival of E3 2019, and very important news dedicated to Final Fantasy VII Remake will be shown.

The reunion.
Is coming :messenger_sunglasses:

Jesus how much are you getting paid?

Unlike what you believe, I have no need to be paid in any way for having Hype for the next, and imminent, arrival of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

And if you think it's "unusual" to have so much Hype, especially with the arrival of an event as big as E3 2019, then I suggest you see how many more millions of players in the world have so much Hype, as there is I have it now.
(just as there will also be those who will have even more Hype than me, for the upcoming news of E3, in the world)

It was a joke guy, put down your katana and chill.

Thanks for helping keep the hype train up and running D. Cannot WAIT to finally see this game in depth. I sure hope that demo thing actually happens.

As for the release date, I'm thinking late February or early March. November 2019 would blow me away though.

FFVII remake is such a big project for many who have grown in that era and were introducted to RPGs with the original game. Yet, in contrast, Square's past mismanagement has lead to a long info drought while many of us had out lives completely reshaped with the passing years (a long enough period to finish school, get a job, get married, etc.).

But now everything is pointing out that the Remake's marketing campaign is about to start.

One week!

When the original Final Fantasy VII came out, I was fresh out of high school. When the E3 2015 trailer dropped, my son was in high school. Now that we're getting more information about the game, my son has graduated high school and is in college now. Hopefully the game releases before he graduates college.

yeah i got it i think for Christmas of my sophomore year of high school for PC-DOS. i still remember just smiling the biggest smile when the first summon flashed up on the screen. i still think the summons in that game are a tiny wonder, each one seemed to get more outlandish and ornate than the last one. the whole game had this crazy charm to it, all the colorful polygon monsters & stuff. i loved it.

feel like we will get a demo this year and 50% sure they will announce the release date for part 1 soon.

Thank you :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

I'm really happy to actively contribute to keeping up the Hype for Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Now only four days are left before the concert dedicated to Final Fantasy VII begins.
And five for Square Enix's E3 2019 conference.

Hype over 9999 :messenger_smiling_hearts:

Yoshinori Kitase will be the guest of the next concert dedicated exclusively to Final Fantasy VII.

Three days to go before the concert begins :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:
