This morning, as I went into work, I noticed that my cellphone - which normally says "Fido", has turned into "ROGERS". It also asked me to update my clock due to daylight savings...

After searching around on Fido's homepage, it seems that Rogers has bought Fido, and they're offering "dual network" for free for 3 months to Fido customers.

Fido coverage sucks, well there reception does. Will this enhance the signals they alreayd send out? For example my phone goes out when I'm in a basement.

Yeah - it wasn't so bad before, but lately for me, Fido's coverage has been awful.

As soon as I can afford a new handset I'm switching.

Did anyone hear about the free camera phone deal that Bell Mobility was giving to recent Fido members? I'm thinking of doing that deal. I heard it on the radio about a week ago, I don't know if it's still on.

Fido is ok, but it's definitely been lame lately.

I used to use Fido...it sucked ass so I switched to Bell

Still sucks but not as much as before

Not like I use my phone much anyway...


Oh and get this...the other day Bell came by to bury a telephone line that they had to fix here in the summer...so they dig a massive hole in front of my house, and they "accidentally" cut the Rogers cable line, cutting off digital cable and internet to my house so my mom had to call Rogers to come fix Bell's mistake...

...AND THE FUCKING HOLE IS STILL THERE!! They ripped apart the sidewalk to dig it ugh...
