Pretty much like your usual Fifa. A good thing for some, a bad thing for most.

Fifa games have improved a lot starting from Fifa 2004. Fifa 2005 was already a pretty good game of football. Its still no PES but it doesnt anymore deserve the blind hate/bashing it still sometimes gets here at GAF. IMO ofcourse.

I'll wait until we see some new direct feed screens, since taking pictures of games on a high quality television using a high quality camera in the right lighting ALWAYS makes the game looks better. That being said, if it does come close to reaching that quality, it should look pretty nice.

i thought the new fifa was worse than before? eurogamer gave fifa 06 a 7/10 and fifa 2005 an 8. so i guess you have another opinion about it, but in general the fifa games are declining.

Nice pictures though. The detail is great. In motion though it doesn't look like much of a change over last year's game (which isn't a good thing)

I don't know, and I wouldn't call it "bind hate/bashing" myself, that's for sure.

I'm watching blim's video and I'm seeing the same old FIFA mechanics, broken animations, lack of gameplay continuity and subpar AI. Graphically it looks nice, like most next-gen games. The grass especially is really impressive, even though it seems that it's only used in very specific situations (during gameplay, it's replaced by what looks like a normal texture).

I hope the 16 seconds load times are gone in the final build :/.

I havent tried Fifa 06 and havent read any reviews about it. :\ Fifa 2005 is a good game.

I still don't get why Madden doesn't have grass even just in replays. It's still 11-on-11. It just boggles the mind. But this game has looked good from the first vids EA released. Most people just bagged on the visuals b/c of their dislike for EA. Hey, I hate 'em too, but this is a pretty game. PEACE.
