I just got it from FedEx and am very impressed. After the load times in TW, I was hoping all EA Sports games weren't gonna be like that. The load times are pretty damn good. The graphics like first-gen PS2. Tons of teams and features, and the sound is INCREDIBLE. Still getting used to the control. I haven't played the console versions lately so I can't compare the feel but I like it

Bring on Madden. 9/1 can't get here soon enough. I preordered it from EBgames.com this weekend with the free overnight they had.

The play-by-play is excellent!

Hands-down the best sports game for the PSP - and I don't even give a shit about soccer!

No doubt and I don't think it will be topped until at least Madden. PbP is great but the stadium ambience is what got me. The crowd giving mild applause when the home team secures the ball after the opponent holds it for awhile and the 'ohs' when a team shoots just wide of the net.

MLB 2006 has some really good audio commentary too...I'm currently playing through a season as the Giants 9-1 W-L record so far. :D

Take Barry out of your line-up Che! Don't cheat! He's injured!

I like MLB too but experienced too much lag even on Ad Hoc. The pitching can get hairy with your poor catcher running around trying to save balls.

The EA Trax on FIFA is awesome - "Surfing on a Rocket" by Air for the main track is as sweeet as it gets!

Oh yeah - just remembered Barry is not licensed! HAHAHA!

You do mean Fifa 2005 don't you? It's an okay game but they should have used the engine from UEFA Champions League 2004-05 for PSP instead of the old Fifa 2005-stuff. Gameplay and set pieces are much improved in that game.

Stop playing on Rookie, yo. :D

I'm playing on veteran, jerkstore.

And yeah, it's weird to not have Bonds in my line-up but I don't really miss him anymore. Funny enough, Ray Durham leads the league in RBI's and average.

Yeah it is actually just FIFA soccer now. I get so f'd up with the EA year naming. Early year games are that year while late year games are next year.

so is it true that you control players with the D-pad and do jukes on the analog disc? I thought I read that somewhere and it seems impractical.

How many strikeouts are you getting per game? I'm embarrassing myself on that front in veteran :(.

Same here... there needs to be a method to the madness. Guess the pitch wrong, you're fucked. Swing to make contact, 80% of the time you're fucked. the only games i win are when I shut the other team out.

There's a UEFA Champions League game???? Damn I wonder how it plays......is it multi or just ps2? [on topic] I wanted to get a Psp just for this game......damn it's so tempting.

So now the burning question becomes: Buy FIFA now or wait for WE later. Crap. I'm not made of money and I am picking up Hot Shots in May. Double crap.

if you dont have the money for both, and you are familiar with Winning Eleven, you know the answer to this question.
