The Japanese title is ugly, just katakana for Fainaru Fantashii. The Chinese title that you see on bootleg soundtracks is possibly not official and I doubt that a Japanese person would read it as Final Fantasy anyway. The first letter would be read "dai" or "tai". IIRC, I translated the kanji once and in Japanese it meant something like "great hopeless warrior".

Why not just tattoo the regular logo if that's what you want? It's way more stylish than a katakana and/or kanji translation.

Actually, in HK and Taiwan, Final Fantasy is known as "Tai Kong Zhan Shi" which means Space Warrior. I have no idea how this originated but that's what the entire series is known as in chinese. Therefore I suggest you forget about chinese and just go with the japanese, have fun tattooing a bunch of katakana on yourself though, that's gotta hurt. :lol

As for Final Fantasy in japanese , it's written in katakana right beneath the english logo on every single japanese coverart for every game in the series so just have a look see, also I think it'd make a bad tattoo.

i think you can download it but you need the XP disk, i lost mine so can't see japanese characters.
