Or at least two out of three.Jonnyram said:Cool, I guess V and VI are on the way then (and III, of course).
Shit, they're doing Xenosaga on the DS, so stranger things have in fact happened.PezRadar said:While there at it port FFVII to ds and make it the first multi cartridge game.. Thanks =[

teiresias said:Seeing as how I don't own a GBA, how do people think the sound (mainly music) quality will be on the GBA version versus the original SNES version? Same question will regards to any FFVI port - as those are two games that have amazing soundtracks on the SNES.
YES! THERE IS HOPE FOR FF6!neo2046 said:
Awful. The GBA has pretty shitty sound, unfortunately. The GBA's one failing, if you ask me, because the graphics and gameplay have been top notch. I think GBA outputs 22kHz sound, even, which is very sad.teiresias said:Seeing as how I don't own a GBA, how do people think the sound (mainly music) quality will be on the GBA version versus the original SNES version? I think 22khz might be possible if the developers can spare that much cart space and CPU to handle samples that big...but it's generally not something you'll see too often (I think Boktai 2 uses a few samples like that?). 11khz and under is the order of the day.terrene said:Awful. FF: DoS's music sounded a lot nicer than most GBA music, though (same goes for FFTA), so I'll be interested in seeing how much more quality Squenix can squeeze from the thing.
It will probably be similar to Final Fantasy 1 & 2: Dawn of Souls. If you want to know how that sound just download the .gsf files, a player and take a listen.teiresias said:Seeing as how I don't own a GBA, how do people think the sound (mainly music) quality will be on the GBA version versus the original SNES version? Heh, be sure to compare it to the .psf files for Final Fantasy Origins, if you want to hear what the music is *supposed* to sound like.neopokekun said:It will probably be similar to Final Fantasy 1 & 2: Dawn of Souls.
