Finally finished Republic Commando - Where's the love?

I just finished this game (at last).. and I must say it's one of the best xbox FPS'es I ever played. Plays very much like Halo meets Ghost Recon and I love both games. Buy it and play it damnit, it's so damn pretty and cool that.. get it!

I just love this game. :)

The love was over before it started.

The 4 man platoon was more like a Minute Man if you get my drift

hur hur hur

But it is a very good game, though very, very short.

Haven't noticed the shortness.. Come to think of it, I don't have much time to game anymore so I actually like short games, means I can finish them before my interest turns to something else..

The reason it didn't seem so short was because you were always pinned down at certain spots. And the 5 or 6 levels were stretched really far apart and long.

Now slap on the cockfuck ending and the fact that this is when the game was actually starting to get GOOD...

This game was definitely underrated. It just came out at a bad time of year and was far too short. It certainly is fun though. I love just wading through enemies in the larger battles, using my gun and punch dagger in unison to cut through the enemy. They did a really good job of implementing the grenades too. I also liked how they would let you set up traps and position your troops before the larger battles sometimes. I hope they make another game like it. I think the basic ideas behind the game have a lot of potential.

I thought it was polished but sort of boring. I didn't have any major complaints, but I can also barely remember anything about it...which I normally don't take as a good sign.

That's exactly it, perfect summary.

It was a decent game but way too short and monotonous and the AI could have been worked on a bit more. The problem was that the engagements and level design were getting increasingly better and POOF game over. What a letdown of an ending.

Great game.

Now where's my 360 sequel? Wookie freedom is very important to me.

It was alright, but it held your hand way too much. It almost felt automated sometimes.

And multiplayer was a missed opportunity.

DON'T BELIEVE MY GAME IMPRESSIONS!

Eh...I don't know what to believe.

It was pretty good..gameplay is like Ghost Recon lite, but it was WAY too short and the ending is just a giant cock-tease.

Hopefully the sequel will involve gunning down jedi, that could be fun.
