I've been using Firefox on a limited basis for a while, mainly for just one website where I had multiple accounts and was too lazy to logout of one to login the other. However, Firefox seems to have just stopped working as of yesterday. If I try to load the program, I can see it in the processes in Task Manager, but it doesn't load to the desktop at all. Also, no matter how many times I click on the shortcut, there will only ever be one Firefox process running. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

This seems to have occured after uninstalling a chat extension for deviantART. I guess I can live without Firefox, but I don't particularly like having something that will never work again sitting around.

Go to the actual firefox directory and delete everything in it. You likely have a corrupt profile. I believe Firefox keeps profiles in case the user decides to reinstall someday.

Delete those, you should be good. Dig thru the directories first if you want to find your bookmarks. It will be a HTML page.
