I think Chris Remo confirmed this wouldn't be happening. Really wish they had a limited run with some Olly Moss goodness in it. I'd kill for those original posters that are forever sold out.

PS+ members will get the 10% discount Steam pre-orders got for the first week, I think.

Looks like I'll be in the middle of a meeting when the review embargo ends, but hopefully I'll be able to sneak a peak at the general impressions.
 
is the twin peaks reference more than just a pun?
is this one of those survival online games turned single player or does it have cool story and gameplay?
I might be interested if the reviews are good.

I had some extra Amazon credits so I used it to order a Steam gift card but they misdelivered and it at the earliest will arrive Monday night. It was supposed to arrive on Saturday and I was planning on preordering then. I lose out on 2 dollars but whatevs, I'm still hyped for the game.
 
I still don't understand what the moment-to-moment gameplay will be like - not that I've made much effort - but It certainly looks interesting and hopefully reviews are good.

I have only watched the E3 trailer from last year. Can't wait to play and find out what this game actually is.

The Twin Peaks reference makes me nervous.

Maybe watch this Gaint Bomb video if you're still unsure.
 
Has the PS4 version been shown recently (with a proper 60fps video)? Curious to see if they locked the frame-rate down at 30fps or allow it to fluctuate wildly as in earlier builds.
 
From what i've seen of the game, it's shaping up to be An Open World Metroidvania Non-Combat Adventure Game.

I am going to spend SO much time here it's not funny.
 
Wish my backlog wasn't so crazy right now.
Always been very interested, given the staff involved and the Giant Bomb 'What It Is' really made me excited.
 
Great price. I was prepared to pay about ten dollars more. Watched the giant bomb quick look and this game may have the best dialogue in a game to date. Also, nice OT.
 
I am looking forward to this. Despite my best efforts to wait for sales to buy "unknowns", the presentation in the Steam store for this game was so exquisite that I had to jump on.
 
i haven't spent a lot of time with video games lately, this one's pullin' me in, can't wait to play it !
 
It was already suggested that this isn't a horror game. How about supernatural elements? I hate those in my games especially if they mean jump scares or nigh impossible bosses.

Yeah... about that. I'd imagine most ps4 reviews will comment on this.
 
Didn't plan on picking this up day1 due to XCOM2, but since i'm already through with my first campaign, i preordered this yesterday.

I know virtually nothing about this game save for some vague things, but i really like exploration based videogames like Gone Home, especially when they're looking so beautiful.

Firewatch is a video game about adults having adult conversations about adult things. If you plan on playing with a younger gamer, that might be good to know going in.

This excerpt from the steam store page made me chuckle.
 
I've heard trough the grape vine that it's rather short that for some reason it doesn't run that well on PS4.

Really excited to experience it and see what the story is all about regardless.

Oh. Going to hold out on platform choice until I hear more about this. I don't think I need 60fls for a game like this, but I don't want it all over the place. Stable 30fps would be fine.

Pretty sure this is Unity right? If so, I wonder if my PC will even play it at 60 fps :| (and I have a good system, I just think there's something fundamentally wrong with Unity that generally causes it to have bad performance)
 
Great OT. I've been waiting to play the game since it was announced, and I was very happy to see it coming to PS4 as well. Finally, the long-expected hour draws near.
