That's the one thing I found with Killing Floor overall, the community was generally really pleasant and a pleasure to play with. Like most games of course you run into an arsehole at least a few times but compared to the acidic pit that is Left 4 Dead I never had many problems on Killing Floor servers. I admittedly tended to play on Normal/Hard servers and not really Hell On Earth so I'm not sure if it was any different on those servers.

Suicidal/Hell on Earth had great communities too. I had some great times playing those modes with randoms. In general assholes were kicked on sight.

I wish I knew something, but I am just going off of what they said about the early access launching in the near future. I would guess that is within the next 3 months. I expect it to be like KF1 was at launch where there were only a handful of maps and weapons. This has an SDK for modders day one though so they can start making new maps right away.

Yep, they're definitely in the game, just not one of the berserker's weapons. I never picked one up, but I believe we got at least one as a random weapon drop in one match.

And remember, those are just the four perks that'll be in the initial EA release.

Never played the first, but I've been following the videos for this one. I absolutely love the attention to detail with the weapons, and the blood and gore look amazing.

I know co-op play is the whole point, but I wish there was some kind of single player component.

There is a single player component, was in the first game too. Enemies scale on how many players are playing (and difficulty) and can play by yourself... But it's definitely designed as a co-op game.

Killing Floor is my second most played game after Dota 2, so KF 2 might be the first time I bought an early access game, I am so excited

I love everything Tripwire put out and this looks like it's not an exception. Killing Floor 1* is one of my favourite Zombie games ever. And that's a large list.

I'd rather a Red Orchestra 3 soon though. The community on RO2 is dying off and that's one of the best (if not the best) multiplayer experiences I've ever played. Would love to see a "next-gen" Red Orchestra. It'll be amazing.

Same here. Ive played RO since the original UT2003 mod. Even with RO2's rocky start, it was one of the best games out there. With proper teamwork, the game is amazing.

I hope so. I didnt see it in the 30 min video. But that an the crossbow were the 2 guns I ever bothered using (sharpshooter being the only class I like playing, obviously)
