So I went to the grocery store to buy a sub, and usually I stop by the magazine rack to look at the fitness magazines. Lo n behold, I see a magazine called SLY. It's Sylvester Stallone's own magazine! Inside, they have like, a 3 page script of the beginning of the movie. Paulie and Rocky sitting on bench near a grave stone, and guess who's it is? Adrians! She died of cancer. So Rocky walks with Paulie around the boonies that we all loved and known in the first two Rocky movies telling Paulie how he used to make these corny jokes and took her ice skating, etc, etc. I didn't bother reading the 3 pages, and they didn't reveal anything about Rocky going back to the ring, except for boxing commentators saying there isn't any competition in the boxing world anymore. Well gee, I wonder who they want to come back?

You guys should really check out the magazine. Sly also interviews Jenna Jameson. :lol

sly said in an interview last week that he wanted to publish some pages from the final script of Rockey VI but he said that the project will probably never be more than a script.

he said the samething about Rambo, he do not think it will become a movie.

I would like to see a new Rambo, i like the old action films more than the new ones. and why does every new action film have that "cool" punch line that the actor always have to say after he killed the bad guy?

like will smith in independece day after he knocks out the alien. "welcome to earth"
just to name a few.

why cant it be like in rambo he does not pull one joke during the entire movie, now that is action that i like!

i say no more cool guy funny guy, i just want pure stone cold action

I am sure some people found some of the lines in Rambo cheesy (I am not one of them).

Didn't he say something to the effect of: "You wanted a war, I'll give you a war you won't believe."

Meh, Rocky should get his son in the ring in VI, then fight him for the championship in X, and die in the ring.

I think it is cool too, but some people fine the whole movie to be really cheesy.

Teasle: Are you telling me that 200 of our men against your boy is a no-win situation for us?
Trautman: You send that many, don't forget one thing.
Teasle: What?
Trautman: A good supply of body bags.

Didn't one of the original scripts for Rocky VI feature Rock managing his son in the ring? I think that would've been a nice way to wrap up the series.

BTW, saw a brief interview with Jenna from a couple weeks ago...she got her hair dyed a dark redish brown. Interesting look.

Yeah, that was one of the scripts. Also one of the Rambo IV scripts was of Rambo storming into the middle-east and beating Osama to death using his bare hands. Another was a more "serious" Rambo movie more along the lines of Black Hawk Down.

As for Jenna. Yea, it's an interesting look and she doesn't look bad with dark hair. Too bad she's only girl/girl now.

Actually they had a prototype script that was eventually scrapped that had Clubber Lang playing an Excorcist, who brought Mick back from the dead, who then got trained by Rocky to go up against Paulie.

During the fight with that young boxer that he trained?
From IMDB.com
Sylvester Stallone originally intended for Rocky to die after defeating Tommy Gunn in their streetfight, however he had second thoughts and rewrote the ending, claiming "it would be like killing off Superman".
