I got PC game pass codes dirt cheap on BF and stacked up on that before they inevitably discontinue that sub. Worked out at about £6/month. Considering I would have bought FH6 at launch it made sense at that price.
Now I just have to hope if they do discontinue it's just for new subscribers and they don't pull some BS like shove me on premium and take away my day one games lmao.

Yes, just before the quarter ends. They can get a bunch in for $1 and then report them all as Gamepass Subscribers in their quarterly. LOL.

Why does the premium offer have only 14 days at 1$ instead of one month like Ultimate and Essential ?

I would say they went completely overboard in the first few years. 1$/€ months were very common and easy to get even without creating new accounts. I can bet that some people got used to having it almost for free and didn't get a full priced sub when the deals went away.
With a subscription, you can also quadruple your reward points for that month. This means you can enjoy a fantastic catalog of GPU that month and recoup your €/$ with the extra reward points

Not free but I'm on my 6th year now leeching on cheap deals. Stacked another 2 years awhile back.
And yeah I've definitely got used to the low price. Can't see me ever paying full price for Ultimate tbh. If I ever end up having to do that I'll go with the PC tier choice instead. If that tier still exist… I assume that they'll drop that once their next Xbox is out if that's a PC.

One month past without gp and I'm enjoying my backlog. Trying to finish games before the subscription ends was honestly a burden. Being able to play what I want, when I want, feels amazing, again. But I should also thank them for the great past three years — I played some really good games, and I guess they won't be able to deliver that level of quality for a while. Good bye for now microsoft.
