Few companies can make me want to purchase a game based on nothing but one screenshot. I'd never even heard of this game until 15 seconds ago.

:lol

Is this a Gizmondo game? Between groundbreaking concepts like this and renegade lawnmower antics, it really is becoming a compelling device.

The concept of this game sounds so fucking cool and original. I can't wait to read more about it.

Details about the game:

http://ps2.ign.com/articles/616/616925p1.html

Mixing drama and comedy into a single story, Bully follows a schoolboy named Jimmy Hopkins and his adventures in the fictitional "Bullworth Academy." Corrupt from the inside out, the school is overflowing with crooked higher-ups, wicked schoolmates, and a whole mess of bothersome bullies. Throughout this escapade, Jimmy will have to stand up to cruel classmates, pursue a love interest, put up with teachers that pick on him, and play pranks on a mess of annoying little buggers from all over the campus.

Gameplay details are a still being kept a mystery for its big reveal at a later time, but we do know that its progression will be open-ended in nature. Due out for both the Xbox and PlayStation 2 this fall, Bully should be making its name rather soon.

I like when Rockstar persues new IP and gameplay sets. Can't wait to hear more.

With shotguns and pipe bombs, I hope

Rockstar never ceases to amaze. Their boardroom must be full of conversations discussing what concepts could get them in the most shit, and therefore the most buzz among 16-24 year olds.

Their next game is reportedly an abortion simulator.

I will always support a developer trying something new.

State of Emergency and Manhunt were gimmicky, but they helped build a better GTA. Nobody can have 100% AAA titles and still maintain an active release schedule.

This game promises exciting features, like:

Accusing classmates of being "gay"

Swearing in nearly every sentence your character spouts

Stuffing innocent bystanders into lockers

Stealing lunch money. Beware, "Bully" may become overweight by eating too much

State of Emergency was.... a disaster. But Manhunt was a pretty fun game, despite its faults. And I think the basic fact is that they have interesting ideas, however crude.

[baka] Yeah, I think only releasing games that sell is what all devs should do!!!! Why try something new? what a waste of time!! [baka]

To be honest I can't wait for this game! looks hot and new... I love seeing new ideas..

Gran Theft SavedbytheBell.

I got nothing.

it would be better if the main character looked like Screech...

R*'s ideas for games are at least original. Or do you all want Identikit Space Marine Game # 5624?

Seriously, the concept of this game sounds awesome and R* are the few devs who's games are genuinely darkly humorous - merge the world of a bully and the world of R8 and you can't fail to have compelling results.

SoE would have been awesome if it had co-op play.

PLEASE LET THERE BE ONLINE PLAY! You think smack talk was bad in online games right now? Imagine what it'll be like when that's the point of the game! This one could raise the bar!

It's pretty sad that they only make games that are controvesial and politically incorrect now though. Considering they were responsible for Lemmings and Silicon Valley in their old guise.

I don't think this is being made by Rockstar North.
